Terms and Conditions of the ‘Edit bet’ feature

The ‘Edit bet’ feature allows you to add, replace or delete selections, change your bet type or increase your bet amount.
The ‘Edit bet’ feature is available for Open Bets that have the ‘Cash Out’ feature enabled.
When using the ‘Edit bet’ feature, the current bet is ‘cashed out’ and a new bet is placed at the same time. The stake of the new bet will be equal to the Cash Out offered for the current bet, except in the following situations:
- a) when you have increased the bet amount yourself;
- b) when the new bet consists of several bets and the total stake for the new bet cannot be distributed evenly among all parts of the new bet. In the latter case, the total stake will be rounded down, so that it can be distributed evenly among all parts of the new bet, with the remaining amount credited back to your gaming account.
You can always monitor the flow of your funds in the ‘Account History’ section.
To edit a bet, you need to click on the pencil icon at the top of your Bet Slip in the Open Bets tab, after which the ‘Edit bet’ feature will open. In the bet editing mode, the following actions are available:
- a) Adding a selection. When you select the ‘Add selection’ feature, the adding mode will be enabled. You can then choose a selection that you want to add.
- b) Replacing a selection. When you select the ‘Replace selection’ feature, a drop-down list will appear that allows you to choose an alternative selection for the same market.
- c) Removing a selection. When you select the ‘Remove selection’ feature, the selection will be excluded from the bet. If necessary, you can add the selection back into the bet.
- d) Changing the bet type. When you select the ‘Bet type’ option, you can change a bet type to any of the offered types.
- e) Increasing the bet stake. To increase the bet amount, you need to specify by how much you would like to increase the current stake, using the ‘Amount’ field.
- f) Confirmation. To finish editing and place a new bet, you need to click on the ‘Confirm’ button.
The new bet will be placed considering the current restrictions applied to the chosen outcomes.
After editing, the new bet will be placed using the current odds.
Marathonbet shall not accept responsibility for the unavailability of the ‘Edit bet’ feature due to technical problems or any other issues that do not allow for the editing of a bet.
Marathonbet reserves the right to change, suspend or cancel the availability of the ‘Edit bet’ feature at any time, for any event outcomes or for any customers.
Marathonbet reserves the right to cancel the settlement of an edited bet if the bet or outcome has been settled incorrectly.
