Please gamble responsibly.

2.2. Advancebet

  1. Advancebet is a Bonus feature which is available if you have unsettled bets on your account.
  2. Advancebet is not a credit facility.
  3. Advancebet provides you with the facility to place further bets when you have insufficient account balance, based on an evaluation of the potential outcome of your unsettled bets.
  4. If the Advancebet amount used to place bets is higher than the amount you subsequently receive from any bet settlement within 48 hours, Marathonbet will absorb all liability for that amount. This means that you will not have any obligation to pay back the remainder of the Advancebet stake used to place bets.
  5. Your Advancebets can be viewed under the ‘Used Advance’ field, in the ‘My Account’ section.
  6. Any bets placed in the Sportsbook and settled within 48 hours after placing an Advancebet, will be used to repay any outstanding Advancebet stake.
  7. If you make a deposit while you have unsettled Advancebets on your account, the deposited funds will go directly to your Available balance. New deposits are not used to pay back the Advancebet stakes.
  8. You can place Advancebets on the following events:
    • 1) Live events
    • 2) Events that are due to start within the next 48 hours.
  9. In order to place an Advancebet, you must have at least one unsettled bet placed on events which are due to start in the next 48 hours. Bets on Starting Prices (SP) will not be used to calculate the available Advancebet balance.
  10. You can also place additional Advancebets even if you have Advancebets currently in play.
  11. Marathonbet reserves the right to exclude customers from the Advancebet facility in addition to not accepting Advancebets on certain events.

Example

You have the following unsettled bets on your account:

StakePricePotential Returns
€1001.75€175
€1002.00€200
€2001.50€300
€1502.10€315

Your Available balance: €50.

If Marathonbet were to offer you an Advancebet balance of €150, you would be able to place bets up to the sum of €200 (€50 Available balance and €150 Advancebet balance).

You then place a bet for €180 (€50 from your Available balance, €130 from your Advancebet balance) on a selection(s) where the total price is 2.00

StakePricePotential Returns
€180 (€50 + €130 Advancebet balance)2.00€360

You then have the following on your account:

Available balance: €0

Unsettled bets: €730

Potential returns: €1220

Used Advancebet balance: €130

You can now place a bet using the remainder of the available Advancebet balance or recalculate the Advancebet balance.

Below are some of the possible scenarios which could occur:

  1. If all of your bets lose, and you have used €130 from your Advancebet balance, in accordance with point 4 of the Advancebet rules, Marathonbet will waive the debt for the outstanding Advancebet stake. You will not have any obligations to pay back the advanced sum. Your Available balance will be €0, providing you have not made any new deposits in accordance with point 7.
  2. If the first and the second bets win, but the others, including your Advancebet, lose, your Available balance will be:
    €175 + €200 - €130 (deduction of the Advancebet stake) = €245
  3. If all 4 bets placed before the Advancebet lose, and the Advancebet for €180 wins, your account balance will be:
    €180 * 2.00 - €130 (deduction of the Advancebet stake) = €230
  4. If all bets win, your account balance will be:
    €175 + €200 + €300 + €315 + €180 * 2.00 - €130 (deduction of the Advancebet stake) = €1220

2.3. Lucky 15, 31 & 63s

  1. We will pay double the odds for one winner for all ‘Lucky’ bets placed on Horse Racing or Greyhounds.
  2. This will only apply to the win part of any bet. The place part of a bet will be settled at the correct odds.
  3. Should a bet contain a Non-Runner, then no Bonuses will apply.
  4. Please refer to the ‘Bet Types’ section for information on the particular additional Bonuses that apply to the different ‘Lucky’ bets.

2.4. Best Odds Guaranteed

  1. On occasion, we may offer Best Odds Guaranteed on certain horse or greyhound races. This means that if you place a bet at an early price or board price, and the SP is greater, your bets will be paid out at the starting price.
  2. This applies to both win and place singles and multiple bets.
  3. If a Rule 4 affects the prices so that the bigger price actually works out less than the smaller one after the Rule 4 is applied, bets will be paid out at whichever price provides the highest return after all deductions have been taken into account.
  4. The rule of Best Odds Guaranteed is not used for bets at ante-post prices.

2.5. Double Result (First Past the Post)

  1. The offer will only apply to Win Singles (or the win part of each-way singles) on Horse Racing in the UK and Ireland. Multiple bets will be settled on the official result only.
  2. We will pay out on both results if a winner is disqualified. This applies to the Win part of bets only (i.e., we pay both on the official result and a disqualified winner subject to the conditions below).
  3. A double result will not be paid if a selection takes the wrong course, carries the wrong weight, the jockey fails to weigh in, the judge calls the wrong result, a race is declared void or for any ante-post bet.
  4. The maximum stake for this concession is €200. For bets larger than this amount the concession will only apply to the first €200 of the stake. Any remaining stake will be settled in accordance with the official result.

2.6. Free Bet

From time to time, we will offer Free Bets. The general rules for qualification for a Free Bet are detailed below. However, the rules may vary according to specific Free Bet offers. Check the relevant press and advertising for details.

The Free Bet may only be placed as a single bet (excluding each-way bets) on any sports event.

Winnings from bets placed using your Free Bet will be paid as withdrawable funds; however, your Free Bet stake will not be paid with any winnings.

If your Free Bet selection is a non-runner, you will be able to place that Free Bet on another selection.

Any Free Bet will expire 180 days after being credited, unless otherwise specified in the Terms and Conditions of the Promotion or Bonus. If you do not use the Free Bet within the specified validity period, it will no longer be available for use.

You are not permitted to open multiple accounts to use this offer more than once. If we suspect that more than one account originates from the same person, we reserve the right to withdraw the Free Bet offer from such accounts.

2.7. Loyalty Program

2.7.1. Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions

The Loyalty Program is available for all customers who can place bets on Marathonbet.com.

The Loyalty Program is a promotional program that allows you to take advantage of all the benefits of the bonus catalogue in exchange for the points accumulated for your bets.

Your qualifying sports (see 'Sport' section below), Casino or Live Casino bets all count towards the Loyalty Program. You will be awarded loyalty points based on your bets.

Sport

  1. Loyalty points are only awarded for qualifying sports bets.
  2. A sports bet is a qualifying bet if it entails:
    • a bet stake of at least €0.10 (or currency equivalent)
    • odds of at least 1.30.
  3. Loyalty points are awarded only after the qualifying sports bet has been settled.
  4. Events that have been cancelled will be settled at odds of 1.00.
  5. Bets placed using Free Bets or the Bonus Balance, as well as Cashed Out bets, will not be considered qualifying bets nor awarded loyalty points.
  6. You can bet on any pre-match or live market. Single bets must have minimum odds of 1.30. For double, treble or accumulator bets, the combined odds must be 1.30 or greater; for multiple bets, each part of a multiple bet should have a stake of at least €0.10 with minimum odds of 1.30; in a System bet, the stake of each accumulator should be at least €0.10 with minimum odds of 1.30.
  7. If a double, treble or accumulator contains matches that are postponed, or a selection that is a non-runner, and the combined odds become less than 1.30, the bet will still stand but won’t qualify for loyalty points.
  8. If a multiple type bet contains a selection from a match that is postponed or a selection that is a non-runner, and any part of the multiple bet becomes less than 1.30 as a result, the bet will still stand but the corresponding part of that multiple bet won’t qualify for loyalty points.
  9. If a System type bet contains a selection from a match that is postponed or a selection that is a non-runner, and any accumulator odds become less than 1.30 as a result, the bet will still stand but the corresponding accumulator won’t qualify for loyalty points.
  10. The number of points awarded for every €0.10 staked on qualifying bets (whether the bets win or lose) depends on your Loyalty Program level. For example, you will collect 0.55 points for a €5 bet if you're on level two. The maximum loyalty points that can be awarded per bet is 100. However, if you are on level two or above, the maximum rises depending on the points coefficient for your level. For example, if your bet is €1,000 and you're on level six, you will earn 150 points.

Casino or Live Casino

  1. Loyalty points are credited for every €20 (or currency equivalent) staked on Casino or Live Casino.
  2. The number of points awarded for every €20 staked depends on your participant level in the Loyalty Program. For example, you will collect 1.1 points if you bet a cumulative €20 and you're on the second level. The maximum loyalty points that can be awarded per bet is 100. However, if you are on level two or above, the maximum rises depending on the points coefficient for your level. For example, if your bet is €2,000 and you're on level six, you will earn 150 points.
  3. The wagering requirement can be met over several days, so the €20 required to earn loyalty points can comprise a €15 bet on one day and a €5 bet on a subsequent day. However, Casino and Live Casino bets are counted separately for the €20 combined wager.
  4. Only real money wagers will count towards the crediting of loyalty points.
  5. Void bets and opposite bets (bets on red and black, on even and odd or other similar bets) will not qualify for loyalty points.
  6. Bets placed in the sections listed below will not be eligible for loyalty points:

2.8. Superprize

2.8.1. Superprize Terms and Conditions

  1. The Superprize promotion is a Bonus offered to Marathonbet clients. In order to win a prize amount, you must correctly answer questions relating to events in a selected football match.
  2. A Superprize ticket consists of a set of questions where you have to select one or more answers for each question provided.
  3. The tickets will be given as Bonuses to the following categories of participants placing bets with Marathonbet:
    • a) Participants who have placed and settled sports bets of at least €10 (or currency equivalent), or who have wagered €20 (or currency equivalent) on Casino or Live Casino, will receive one ticket each, provided the bets are both placed and settled after the start of the active Superprize and before the kick-off of the match being selected for the quiz.
    • b) Participants who place bets of at least €10 (or currency equivalent) on any market of the selected match will receive the number of tickets proportional to the bet amount, i.e., for each €10 (or currency equivalent) you will receive 1 ticket. For example, if your stake is €30 (or 3 €10 stakes), you will receive 3 tickets. Please note! If your stake is €20 (or currency equivalent) – you will receive 2 tickets, if your stake is €19 (or currency equivalent) – you will receive 1 ticket.
If a bet of less than €10 (or currency equivalent) is placed, it won’t qualify for a ticket.
  4. Both pre-match and live bets count towards this promotion. If a double, treble, accumulator or multiple bet includes a selection from a qualifying match, you will receive the number of tickets proportional to the entire bet stake.
  5. Free Bets, Bonus funds and Free Spins will not count towards earning a ticket for the Superprize.
  6. Qualifying single bets that have been Cashed Out or Edited on the Superprize match, or where the Superprize match is amongst the selections in a multiple bet which has been Cashed Out or Edited, will count towards earning a ticket. All other Cashed Out or Edited bets will not count towards earning a ticket for the Superprize.
  7. To earn your prize, you need to have a winning ticket. A winning ticket is any ticket that has 10 or more correct answers. The more correct answers there are on a ticket, the bigger the prize amount. The number of correct answers required for each prize amount are as follows:
    • 11 correct answers—the Superprize of €5,000 in Free Bets;
    • 10 correct answers—a prize of €250 in Free Bets.

Each ticket can earn one prize only. For example, if a participant provides correct answers to all of the questions, the corresponding ticket will participate in the €5,000 prize draw but will not participate in the prize draw corresponding to the 10 correct answers. However, the number of prizes that can be won per participant is not limited. To participate in several prize draws, the participant must use multiple tickets. If the participant provides 11 correct answers within one ticket, and 10 correct answers in another ticket, they can participate in several prize draws.
  8. If several participants correctly answer the same number of questions, the prize amount will be distributed among all of these participants. The more tickets with correct answers you have, the greater your share of the prize.
  9. Participants can receive and use an unlimited number of tickets no later than five minutes before the start of the selected match, according to the rules of paragraph 3 above.
  10. The prizes will be credited within 30 working days after the end of the promotion.
    • The Organiser has the right to contact the Winner and request any information or documents required to credit the prize. In such cases, the time frame for crediting the prize starts on the day the request is sent to the Winner.
    • If the Winner has failed to provide the requested information or documents within 30 days after the request has been sent, they lose their right to claim their prize.
  11. Winnings from bets placed using Free Bets will be paid as withdrawable funds. The Free Bet stake will not be returned with any winnings.
  12. The Free Bet(s) will expire 180 days after being credited to the account.
  13. The promotion results will be confirmed within 24 hours of the qualifying match ending based on the match result at the end of normal time.
  14. The correct answers will be determined by official sources, according to paragraph 6.3 of the Marathonbet Rules.
  15. Own goals count to the side credited with the goal.
  16. Bets that contain one or more cancelled or void outcomes will not participate in this promotion.
  17. In the event the football match is cancelled all tickets will be void.
  18. If for your convenience you want to select several answers simultaneously, you can select several answers to one or more questions at one time; accordingly, with this the total number of tickets used will double, treble etc.
  19. Marathonbet reserves the right to limit or cancel accepting answers at any time.

To this end, we have ensured that there are several options available that can help you configure and manage your account.

Please see below for the full list of resources available to inform and aid you in considering how to manage your time and money.

5.1. Minors and Advice for Family & Friends

Minors

If you are under 18, please do not attempt to register an account with Marathonbet.

As a socially responsible operator, Marathonbet employs an Over 18 Policy and is committed to preventing underage gambling. Verification checks are conducted on Marathonbet customers, so if you register a Marathonbet account, please do not be offended in the event that we ask you for proof of age and identity.

Parental Guidance

If you have concerns that your children, or someone you know under the age of 18, may be gambling through this site or have access to personal and account details that would allow them to do so, then there are a number of options available to help you.

Family & Friends

We understand that an individual developing a gambling problem does not just affect them alone, but also their family and friends.

Situations like this can be very difficult to approach. The key is to offer your support throughout and outline the additional support options available when they are ready to consider them. Please see the Getting Assistance section of our website for details of leading organisations that may be able to help customers directly.

For any people close to an existing customer whose gambling behaviour they are concerned about, we recommend that you visit Gam-Anon, who specialise in providing support to those close to people affected by responsible gambling difficulties – www.gamanon.org.uk

5.2. Betting/Account History

In the My Account ‘Bet History’ and My Account ‘Account/Transaction History’ sections, you can access a full history of your previous bets, withdrawals and deposits, along with your current account balance. There are several filters that allow you to make your searches more specific. From these sections you will be able to see exactly what, when and how much you have wagered, won and lost.

5.3. Staying in Control

Below is a list of self-test questions, which you can use to assess whether you may be spending too much time and/or money on gambling.

  • Have others ever criticised your gambling?
  • Have you ever lied to cover up the amount of money or time you have gambled?
  • Do arguments, frustrations or disappointments make you want to gamble?
  • Do you gamble alone for long periods?
  • Do you stay away from work to gamble?
  • Do you gamble to escape from a boring or unhappy life?
  • Are you reluctant to spend ‘gambling money’ on anything else?
  • Have you lost interest in your family, friends or pastimes due to gambling?
  • After losing, do you feel you must try and win back your losses as soon as possible?
  • When you gamble and run out of money, do you feel lost and in despair, and need to gamble again as soon as possible?
  • Do you gamble until your last penny is gone?
  • Have you lied, stolen or borrowed just to get money to gamble or pay gambling debts?
  • Do you feel depressed or anxious because of your gambling?

If you find you are answering ‘yes’ to even a couple of the above questions, then we ask that you consider contacting one of the organisations listed below, in the Getting Assistance section, to discuss your situation. All organisations ensure complete confidentiality.

Please remember these five tips as a guide to help you gamble more responsibly:

  • only gamble if you are still finding it fun;
  • think of the money you lose as the cost of entertainment, and accept losing as part of the game;
  • don't gamble to win back losses;
  • set a monetary and/or time limit and stick to it;
  • don't borrow money to gamble.

Additionally, you can try the self-assessment questions that are available on the Gamblers Anonymous website: https://gamblersanonymous.org/20-questions/

Marathonbet is dedicated to offering its customers enjoyable entertainment. For this purpose, we aim to provide you with the highest standard of support to gamble responsibly. We offer a range of Limit options to help you control your gambling activity and let you decide, in advance, the amount of money you wish to deposit or spend.

A Daily Deposit Limit allows you to set the maximum amount that you can deposit into your Marathonbet account on a daily basis.

A Weekly Deposit Limit allows you to set the maximum amount that you can deposit into your Marathonbet account on a weekly basis.

A Monthly Deposit Limit allows you to set the maximum amount that you can deposit into your Marathonbet account on a monthly basis.

Any of these Limits can be reduced, and any reduction will have immediate effect. Any increase to the amount will only be applied after a 24-hour period, during which any increase request can be cancelled.

Should you wish to set limits, please open the ‘Player Protection’/’Responsible Gambling’ section or contact our Customer Support team. Please see the Contact Us section of our website for more details.

5.6. Account Closure and Self-Exclusion

Account Closure

Should you wish to close your Marathonbet account, please contact our Customer Support team. In the majority of cases, there will be the option for you to reopen your account.

Please see the Contact Us section of our website for further details.

Self-Exclusion

If you have concerns about your gambling activity and, after considering your position, you feel that you can no longer afford to continue spending any time or money with us, there is the option to self-exclude.

Self-Exclusion is a voluntary fixed term in which you are denied access to our betting services. This period can be set at a minimum of one year, with additional options of three years, five years and 10 years. There is also the option to self-exclude permanently.

If you choose to self-exclude, these are the key points to consider:

  • You will not be able to bet and deposit with Marathonbet at all during this time.
  • Please remember that once you have self-excluded, this agreement is final and cannot be changed. We will not be able to reactivate the betting facilities on your account during this period.
  • To protect and prevent you from using Marathonbet during this time, if we detect any accounts open in your name, such accounts will be closed. Marathonbet cannot be liable for any losses accumulated from customers opening any accounts when they are already self-excluded.
  • Upon requesting Self-Exclusion, if you have an outstanding balance left in your account, you will still be able to withdraw funds.
  • We would kindly ask that you update your contact details (address and/or telephone number) if they change, so that we can put protective measures in place against opening new accounts with the updated contact details. In the event that inaccurate or incomplete data is submitted or your current details are not updated, we will not be held responsible for any subsequent losses or other circumstances caused by these actions.

You can activate a Self-Exclusion by clicking on the Self-Exclusion link contained within our ‘Player Protection’/’Responsible Gambling’ section or by contacting our Customer Support team. Please see the Contact Us section of our website for further details.

As a socially responsible betting operator, Marathonbet will endeavour to action your account closure/Self-Exclusion request at the earliest possible opportunity. However, depending on the contact channel you use to close your account or self-exclude, the time period in which your request will be actioned in full may vary. Therefore, Marathonbet shall not be liable for any losses towards either party before the closure takes place or the Self-Exclusion period comes into effect. Please note that your closure/Self-Exclusion will only come into effect at the point you receive confirmation from our Customer Support team that your account is closed/self-excluded. If you discover the account that you have requested to be closed/self-excluded is still open, please call our Customer Support team immediately, and we will treat the situation with the utmost urgency.

5.7. Cooling-Off

If you’re concerned about the amount of time or money you are spending with us, we offer customers the chance to take a Cooling-Off period, away from the website, and to stop betting for a short, predetermined period.

The Cooling-Off facility allows you to take a break for 24 hours, seven days, one month or three months. Once you've committed to a Cooling-Off period, you cannot deposit or place further bets until the end of that period.

You may also wish to request a Cooling-Off period, or a similar facility, with any other bookmakers or gaming operators with whom you have an account.

If you choose to request a Cooling-Off period, these are the key points to consider:

  • You will not be able to bet and deposit with Marathonbet at all during this time.
  • Please remember that, once you request a Cooling-Off period, this agreement is final and cannot be changed. We will not be able to reactivate the betting facilities on your account during this period.
  • To protect and prevent you from using Marathonbet during this time, if we detect any accounts open in your name, such accounts will be closed. Marathonbet cannot be liable for any losses accumulated from customers opening any accounts when they are already limited.

You can activate a Cooling-Off period by clicking on the Cooling-Off link contained within our ‘Player Protection’/’Responsible Gambling’ section or by contacting our Customer Support team. Please see the ‘Contact Us’ section of our website for further details. When your Cooling-Off period has expired, your account will reopen automatically.

As a socially responsible gambling operator, we will activate your Cooling-Off request at the earliest possible opportunity.

If you still have concerns about your gambling activity after returning from a Cooling-Off period, you might want to consider additional player protection measures, such as setting Deposit and Loss Limits. See the ‘Responsible Gambling’ section of our ‘Help’ pages for more information.

  2. Your bet is accepted the moment it is recorded on our system, in accordance with the conditions described in these Rules. 3. Notwithstanding that Marathonbet uses its best endeavours to supply exact information, the company cannot be held responsible for any errors and/or omissions, human or palpable, which result in the incorrect displaying of prices, entering of results, listing of runners or event start times. Marathonbet reserves the right to correct any obvious errors whilst immediately informing the customer, subject to the following provisions:
    • 1) If the bet was made prior to the commencement of the event, the winning price shall be changed to a revised and corrected one. If the revised and corrected price is under 1.001 (1/1000), then the bet is deemed void.
    • 2) If the bet was made after the commencement of the event, then it is voided irrespective of the outcome.
    • 3) If the bet was made in 'Live', then it is voided irrespective of the outcome.
  4. Where the official 'Off' of a race or event is not announced, bets are accepted up to the displayed 'open until' time. If the 'open until' time is after the event has actually started, and the market is not a 'Live Betting' event, any selections may be made void if, at the time the bet was placed, the race or event was resolved or at a stage where the customer could have an indication of the outcome.
  5. In the event of there being a dispute regarding the time at which a bet was placed, the time at which it was recorded on our server will govern settlement.
  6. All bets will show on the Bet History page online and can be checked there at any time.
  7. We do not accept postal, facsimile, telex or text bets and bets received in this way will be void, win or lose.
  8. If your bet is outside the allowable limits, the maximum stake per selection or bet is displayed onsite at the time of placing a bet. If you place several bets on the same event or selection (or on related selections, such as, ‘Team To Win’ and ‘Team To Win or Draw’, ‘Handicap’, etc.), Marathonbet reserves the right to void all such bets.
  9. Marathonbet reserves the right to refuse all or any part of any bet without explanation.
  10. All odds displayed on site are for information only and subject to change at any time. The odds that apply to a particular bet will be those confirmed at the time of bet placement.
  11. All Latest Scores and/or Match Times displayed on an ongoing market are for information purposes only. Whilst every effort is made to ensure their accuracy, we cannot be held responsible for any incorrect information displayed.
  12. Not all selections will be quoted for outright markets in some cases. You can email or call Customer Support to ask for any selection to be added to a market. However, for all settlement purposes, all selections will count whether they are displayed or not, unless the market specifically says that ‘Only Quoted Selections Count’.
  13. Any returns will be credited back to that customer's account.
  14. No claims or disputes will be considered more than 4 weeks after the date the original bet was settled.
  15. All telephone calls to our Customer Support team are recorded to assist us in resolving queries and maintaining high standards of Customer Support. These calls are recorded securely, in the interest of client confidentiality, and may be stored.

6.2. Maximum Winnings

  1. A bet is accepted on the basis that it is the investment of one customer only. Customer winnings are subject to maximum limits for each consecutive 24 hours, irrespective of the number of bets, the total stakes invested or the method by which they are placed. These maximums apply even if the level of potential winnings exceeds these amounts.
  2. Should a number of bets containing the same selection(s) be placed, even if they are placed as a series of bets, over one or more days, at differing odds or using more than one betting account, and we have reason to believe they have originated from one customer or group/syndicate of customers acting together, then we reserve the right to limit the total payment of all those bets combined to the single maximum amount applicable in these rules.
  3. Our maximum winnings for each customer in any consecutive 24 hours are €250,000. Lower limits are applicable to individual events. The list below gives the details of the limits on specific events. All amounts are shown in € (EUR), but in all instances read as ‘or currency equivalent’.
  4. Where customer bets contain selections from events where the limits are different, the maximum winnings in any consecutive 24 hours will be determined by the lowest limit of any of the selections, irrespective of whether that particular selection wins or not.

Non Sporting, Specials & Novelty Bets

  • €25,000 or currency equivalent, unless advertised otherwise.

6.3. Bet Settlement

  1. Bets are calculated using the fractional format of the prices quoted. Bets will default to being settled as win only, unless each way is selected. If an each-way bet is inadvertently accepted on a win only market, or a decrease in the number of runners changes the place terms to win only, then the stakes for any each-way bets placed will all be applied on that selection to win (i.e a €5 each-way bet will become €10 to win).
  2. The place odds for an each-way bet will be fixed at the time of acceptance and will be displayed on the website. The only exception to this is a horse racing bet placed after the final declarations have been made, in which case the place terms applicable will be determined by the number of actual runners taking part. The place terms for any bet at SP will also be governed by the actual number of runners taking part. (see the Horse & Greyhound racing sections for a detailed explanation of place terms).
  3. If a dead heat is declared in any event, half of the stake is applied to the selection at full odds and the other half is lost. If more than two selections dead heat, the stake is apportioned accordingly. This also applies to the place part of any event where the dead heat resulted in more selections being paid out as placed than the place odds determined when the bet was originally placed.
  4. All early prices and some fixed odds prices are subject to Tattersalls Rule 4(c) in the event of any non-runners. A fixed odds price that could incur a Rule 4 would be where stakes are returned on a non-runner (i.e. a golf group bet). All ante-post bets taken on an ‘All in Run or Not basis’ will not be subject to a Rule 4 deduction, as bets on a non-runner will be losers. See the Horse Racing section for more details on Rule 4 deductions. Should a HORSE be WITHDRAWN when not under orders in an early price race, stakes on that selection will be returned, with bets on other runners in the race subject to a deduction in accordance with Tattersalls Rule 4(c). Should a GREYHOUND be WITHDRAWN in an early price race, all bets on that selection at an early price, nominating either name or trap number, will be void. Bets on remaining runners will be subject to Tattersalls Rule 4(c), unless a reserve runs, in which case all bets will be settled at the starting price.
  5. Where a selection is made void, it will be treated as a non-runner for settlement purposes. For singles, bets stakes will be returned. For multiple bets, that selection will be treated as a non-runner and stakes will be placed on the remaining selections in that bet.
  6. Unless specifically advertised or displayed on the website, we do not accept Place Only bets without an equal Win bet, with the exception of pari-mutuel bets on overseas horse racing. In any other circumstance, any place stake will be made void, win or lose.
  7. Settlement will be made on the information provided by the official sites of competitions and their organisers. Subsequent changes to results are disregarded for settlement purposes, with the exception of obvious errors. If the official information sources don’t contain the results of markets, settlement will be made based on the identical information of several independent, recognised sources. Where there is an absence of information about the results of a finished event or its individual markets for 72 hours from when that event was supposed to be completed, bets on that event or its individual markets may be cancelled.
  8. On all Horse Racing markets, the weigh-in will define the official result. Any subsequent changes to the result after the weigh-in will not count for settlement purposes.
  9. Winnings will be credited back to a customer’s account once a result has been finalised and we consider that there is no reason to suspect there will be any changes.
  10. Marathonbet reserves the right to recover any funds incorrectly credited to customer accounts and to adjust customer balances to rectify errors (for example, if a result was stated incorrectly).

6.4. Any-To-Come (ATC) Bets

  1. Any-To-Come Bets, such as Round Robin or Flags, will be accepted win or each way. Where an each-way bet is stipulated, and there are insufficient funds running on to cover the whole of the bet, the win part will be given precedence. Any additional stakes after the win part has been satisfied will be apportioned to the place part.
  2. If a selection is a non-runner in an ATC bet, then that stake will be invested as part of the ATC money on the other selections.

6.5. Ante-Post/Outright Betting

Horse & Greyhound Racing

  1. Ante-post prices are those offered on
    • 1) Horse Racing prior to the final declaration stage.
    • 2) Greyhound events up to and including the semi-final stage. Any bets placed after the semi-finals or on a single race event will be settled on an early price ‘non-runner, no bet’ basis, and Tattersalls Rule 4(c) will be applied in the event of a non-runner.
  2. Ante-post bets are accepted ‘all in run or not, entered or not’. Stakes are lost on an ante-post bet if a selection does not take part. No Tattersalls Rule 4(c) deductions are made from winning bets, except in the circumstances of rule 1 part (ii) above.
  3. If a race is postponed to another day:
    • 1) Ante-post bets placed before the entries have closed will stand and will only be made void if:
      • a. the race is abandoned or made void;
      • b. a horse is balloted out under Jockey Club Rules of racing;
      • c. the venue is altered.
    • 2) Ante-post bets placed after the entries have closed will be void, except when:
      • a. the race is run at a later date at the same venue;
      • b. the entries are not re-opened;
      • c. the running surface is not altered (e.g. Turf to Dirt/All Weather or vice versa).
  4. Ante-post bets are settled at the price and place terms applicable at the time of acceptance. Should incorrect prices or place terms be given in error, we reserve the right to settle the bet at the correct price or place terms that were available at the time the bet was made.
  5. Where the same selection is backed to win two or more ante-post events in an accumulative bet, a special combined price will apply, irrespective of their individual prices at the time. Where no special combined price is available (e.g. a horse to win a Guineas trial and the Guineas), the settlement will be based on the first available odds after each leg has been completed. If the website does not show a special combined price at the time a bet was placed, we reserve the right to amend the prices according to these rules.
  6. If a horse is balloted out of a race, then all bets placed on that selection will be void, ante-post or otherwise.
  7. Marathonbet rules apply to all instances not covered by these special ante-post rules.

Sports Betting

  1. All outright sports bets are 'non-runner, no bet'. Stakes will be returned on competitors or teams who take no part in a tournament.
  2. The finishing position of competitors or teams at the end of a scheduled programme of matches will determine placing, with no allowances for play-offs, subsequent enquiries or point deductions by the respective leagues.
  3. Season long head-to-heads, handicaps etc. are based on the placing at the end of the scheduled programme of matches with no allowances for play-offs, subsequent enquiries or point deductions by the respective leagues. Where appropriate, the rules on that competition take precedence for head-to-head betting. For example, if goal difference applies to league standings, then a head-to-head bet on two teams finishing with the same number of points will also be defined by goal difference. Handicap bets are calculated in accordance with Rule 6.7.2.
  4. In US sports, the Conference winner will be determined after the completion of the conference play-offs and not by the best record during the regular season.

6.6. Each-Way Terms

  1. The place part of each-way bets on horse and greyhound racing are settled using the following place terms.
    HORSE RACING
    Non HandicapsNumber of RunnersHandicaps
    Win OnlyUnder 5 runnersWin Only
    1/4 odds, 1,25 - 7 runners1/4 odds, 1,2

    1/5 odds, 1,2,316 or more runners1/4 odds, 1,2,3,4

  2. GREYHOUNDS
    Under 5 runnersWin Only
    5 - 7 runners1/4 odds, 1,2
    8 or more runners1/5 odds, 1,2,3
  3. On occasion, we may offer enhanced place terms on certain events/races. This will be displayed clearly on the website and in our Special Offers section.

6.7. Handicap & Asian Handicap/Total Betting

  1. Handicap – an advantage or disadvantage for a competitor or team, expressed in goals/points/games/seconds etc. which is given by Marathonbet to competitors or teams in specific competitions.
  2. When calculating a handicap bet, the handicap that has been given to the competitor or team is added to total amount of goals/points/games/seconds etc. If the result is in favour of your selection, then handicap bets are considered to be winning, otherwise bets are considered lost.

If the result becomes a draw after taking into account the handicap:
    • 1) If there were no handicap draw odds offered, stakes on single bets will be returned. For multiple bets, including accumulators, that selection will be treated as a non-runner.
    • 2) If handicap draw odds were offered, then bets on a draw, taking into account the handicap, are winners. Bets on handicap wins for either selection are losers.
  3. Depending on the particular sport, handicap bets may be accepted on a regular time, extra time, overtime, penalty shootouts etc. Please familiarise yourself with the betting rules for each sport in section 7.

    Examples of handicap bets:
    • 1) You place a bet on Liverpool (handicap +1.5). On the bet slip this will be displayed as: Liverpool (+1.5) along with the odds for this selection. You are betting on Liverpool to win, draw or lose by not more than 1 goal. In such cases, your bet will be a winner. If Liverpool lose by 2 goals or more, your bet loses.

Assuming that Liverpool lose 1:2, we add the handicap of +1.5, which comes to 2.5 for Liverpool; therefore, handicap bets on Liverpool are winners.
    • 2) You place a bet on Barcelona (handicap -2.0). In the bet slip, it will be displayed as: Barcelona (-2.0) along with the odds for this selection. You are betting on Barcelona to win by at least 3 clear goals. If Barcelona draw, lose or win with only 1 goal difference, your bet loses. If Barcelona wins with 2 clear goals (for example 3:1), then
      • a. if there were no handicap odds on a draw, stakes on single bets will be returned. For multiple bets, including accumulators, that selection will be treated as a non-runner;
      • b. if there were handicap odds on a draw available, and you had a bet on Barcelona to win with a (-2.0) handicap, your bet will lose. Bets on a draw (with a handicap) will be winners.
  4. Double Asian handicaps and totals are bets where the stake is split into 2 equal parts. One part of the bet is on the whole number and the other part on the non-whole number. A single price is offered for this bet. For example, if an Asian Handicap were offered as (-1.0, -1.5) and €100 were to be staked on this, €50 would be placed at -1.0 and €50 at -1.5. Similarly, if an Asian Total Goal were offered as (over 3.0, 3.5) and €100 were to be staked, €50 would be placed at over 3.0 and €50 at over 3.5. Click here for further details.

6.8. Related Contingencies

  1. Multiple bets are not accepted where the outcome of one part of the bet contributes to the outcome of another, unless a specific price is displayed for that eventuality.
  2. If the website does not show a special combined price at the time a bet was placed, we reserve the right to settle related contingency bets as such where the selections clash. For example, a €20 double on Federer to win by 3 sets to 0 and to win the match outright is settled as 2 x €10 singles. However, where the related parts of the bet are resolved at different times, the bet will be settled as displayed, with the price for the second or subsequent legs being determined at each individual stage. For example, a €20 double on Federer to win the semi-final at 8/15 and Federer to win the same tournament outright at 13/8, is settled as a €20 double on Federer to win the semi-final at 8/15 with the price for Federer to win outright being the first available odds after Federer has won his semi-final. In the event of Federer losing either the semi-final or the final, the bet is losing.

6.9. Forecasts

  1. Forecasts are accepted on horse and greyhound races of three or more runners. In certain other sports, a fixed odds price might be offered on a specific finishing order.
  2. For horse races, bets are settled as straight forecasts, in accordance with the Computerised Starting Price forecast returns.
  3. For greyhound races, all forecasts for BAGS/BEGS meetings are settled as computer straight forecasts.
  4. Unnamed favourites or second favourites are not accepted for forecast bets.
  5. If a race is reduced to only two runners, all forecast bets will be settled as a win single on the selection nominated to finish first.
  6. Should a selection become a non-runner in a forecast, the bet will be void. In reversed or combination bets, each forecast is treated separately. In ‘with the field’ or ‘the field with’ bets, if the selection nominated with or against the field is a non-runner, the bet will be void.

6.10. Tricasts

  1. A tricast is where you name the first, second and third placed selection in the correct order for a race where a tricast dividend is declared. In certain other sports a fixed odds price might be offered on a specific finishing order.
  2. If a tricast bet is taken on a race where no tricast dividend is declared, the bet will be settled as a straight forecast on the selections nominated to finish first and second. The third placing will have no bearing on the settlement.
  3. Where one selection is a non-runner, the bet will be settled as a straight forecast on the remaining selections which must finish first and second in the order given.
  4. Where two selections are non-runners, the bet will be void.

6.11. Favourite Betting

  1. The favourite is the horse or greyhound which is returned at the shortest odds.
  2. Where you nominate the favourite and two or more runners start at the shortest odds, then your stake is divided equally over the two ‘Joint’ or ‘Co’-Favourites created. For example, where two are returned at the shortest odds, then these two are joint 1st and 2nd favourites, and the next shortest price runner is the 3rd favourite.
  3. Stakes will be returned on single favourite bets where the return, regardless of the result, is less than the original outlay. For example, 10/11 Joint Favourites, 11/4 Co-Favourite of four etc. Where the situation occurs with ‘joint’ or ‘co-favourites’ in an accumulative bet, the selection will be treated as a non-runner.
  4. If the favourite should be withdrawn before coming under starter’s orders, but too late for a new market to be formed, that favourite will be treated as a non-runner for settlement purposes, unless a particular bet’s rules stipulate otherwise.

6.12. VIP bets

  1. VIP bet–A special bet, the amount of which exceeds the current maximum stake for the chosen selection(s).
  2. Terminology used: Current maximum–the maximum stake allowed for the chosen selection(s). VIP minimum–the minimum VIP bet stake set by the company (€100 or other currency equivalent). VIP request–the amount of a VIP bet stake which exceeds the current maximum stake allowed.
  3. When a VIP request is made, the current maximum stake allowed is accepted from the customer. This amount shall not be subject to cancellation should the VIP request be subsequently declined.
  4. The duration of a VIP request decision-making period for the company shall be determined from the moment of the receipt of the VIP request to the start of the first event in the bet, and in any case shall not exceed 10 minutes.
  5. Any single, accumulator or multiple bet can form a VIP bet, although VIP bet requests are not accepted on certain sporting events. After the completion of all events in a VIP bet, it shall be settled as normal in accordance with the general rules.
  6. VIP bet requests are not accepted on live events.

Example: The current maximum allowed stake for a bet is €80.00. The VIP bet amount must not be less than the VIP minimum imposed by the company, which is set at €100.00.

A customer wishes to bet €400.00. They specify the amount in the bet slip after choosing their selections and the bet type, then tick the VIP bet box. When this bet is placed, the customer’s account balance decreases by the current maximum amount, €80.00. The rest of the amount, €320.00, remains in the account and is considered a VIP request.

The company may then make any of the following decisions concerning a customer’s VIP request:

  1. The VIP request is accepted for the amount specified by the customer (i.e. €320.00), so a total bet of €400.00 is placed.
  2. The VIP request is accepted for a lesser amount than requested by the customer (€100.00), so a total bet of €180.00 is placed.
  3. The VIP request is rejected; the total bet amount remains equal to the current maximum of €80.00.

If a VIP request is accepted by the company partly or in full, the customer’s account balance decreases by the VIP bet amount.

6.13. Cash Out T&Cs

  1. The Cash Out option gives you the opportunity to settle a bet at the displayed value before the market is closed. All winnings that come from the use of the Cash Out functionality will be automatically credited to the player's account as funds that can be withdrawn.
  2. Only selected types of bets are eligible for the Cash Out option.
  3. Bets generated from ‘Free Bet’ offers, or bets that form part of other promotions or special offers, are not eligible for Cash Out.
  4. The Cash Out option may not be available for some selections.
  5. The Cash Out option is not available at all times; the option is not guaranteed.
  6. You will be eligible to participate in the offer when the Cash Out value is displayed in addition to the ‘Potential Returns’ in the ‘Open Bets’ tab (the Cash Out Value will be shown next to the words ‘Cash Out’).
  7. The availability of Cash Out is also indicated in the Bet History. You can check the current Cash Out value for an eligible bet by reviewing the bet details in the ‘Open Bets’ tab on your Marathonbet account.
  8. The Cash Out option may be delayed due to price fluctuations.
  9. Marathonbet reserves the right to amend, suspend or remove Cash Out availability before accepting a bet eligible for Cash Out, at any time, on any market and for any customer.
  10. Marathonbet will not be held responsible for imagery, messaging or social media content after the offer has been withdrawn or expired.
  11. In the event of a ‘Cash Out Value’ pricing error, Marathonbet will void the ‘Cash Out Offer’ whilst immediately informing the customer. The original bet will be settled in accordance with the Marathonbet ‘Betting Rules’ set out within the General Terms and Conditions.
  12. Marathonbet will not be held responsible if the Cash Out option is not available due to technical issues or other issues that prevent the Cash Out being made.
  13. The Auto Cash Out option allows you to set thresholds, which will trigger Cash Out if reached.
  14. The Auto Cash Out option is available for bets with the Cash Out option.
  15. Activation of the Auto Cash Out option in the ‘Open Bets’ tab can be completed by clicking on the ‘gearwheel’ icon, which will be displayed next to the Cash Out button.
  16. In the value field you can set the maximum threshold, minimum threshold, or both thresholds at the same time. Once thresholds are applied, the ‘gearwheel’ icon will change its appearance.
  17. Once one of the set thresholds is reached, it will trigger Cash Out.
  18. The Partial Cash Out function allows you to withdraw part of the Cash Out amount.
  19. The Partial Cash Out function is only available for bets where the Cash Out function is available.
  20. The Partial Cash Out function can be activated in the ‘Open Bets’ tab, by clicking on the ‘gearwheel’ button, which will be displayed next to the Cash Out button.
  21. Once the Partial Cash Out has been confirmed, the indicated Cash Out amount is paid out for the existing bet, and a new bet is placed with the remaining stake. The price for the new bet will remain unchanged.

6.14. Terms and Conditions of the ‘Edit bet’ feature

  1. The ‘Edit bet’ feature allows you to add, replace or delete selections, change your bet type or increase your bet amount.
  2. The ‘Edit bet’ feature is available for Open Bets that have the ‘Cash Out’ feature enabled.
  3. When using the ‘Edit bet’ feature, the current bet is ‘cashed out’ and a new bet is placed at the same time. The stake of the new bet will be equal to the Cash Out offered for the current bet, except in the following situations:
    • a) when you have increased the bet amount yourself;
    • b) when the new bet consists of several bets and the total stake for the new bet cannot be distributed evenly among all parts of the new bet. In the latter case, the total stake will be rounded down, so that it can be distributed evenly among all parts of the new bet, with the remaining amount credited back to your gaming account.
You can always monitor the flow of your funds in the ‘Account History’ section.
  4. To edit a bet, you need to click on the pencil icon at the top of your Bet Slip in the Open Bets tab, after which the ‘Edit bet’ feature will open. In the bet editing mode, the following actions are available:
    • a) Adding a selection. When you select the ‘Add selection’ feature, the adding mode will be enabled. You can then choose a selection that you want to add.
    • b) Replacing a selection. When you select the ‘Replace selection’ feature, a drop-down list will appear that allows you to choose an alternative selection for the same market.
    • c) Removing a selection. When you select the ‘Remove selection’ feature, the selection will be excluded from the bet. If necessary, you can add the selection back into the bet.
    • d) Changing the bet type. When you select the ‘Bet type’ option, you can change a bet type to any of the offered types.
    • e) Increasing the bet stake. To increase the bet amount, you need to specify by how much you would like to increase the current stake, using the ‘Amount’ field.
    • f) Confirmation. To finish editing and place a new bet, you need to click on the ‘Confirm’ button.
  5. The new bet will be placed considering the current restrictions applied to the chosen outcomes.
  6. After editing, the new bet will be placed using the current odds.
  7. Marathonbet shall not accept responsibility for the unavailability of the ‘Edit bet’ feature due to technical problems or any other issues that do not allow for the editing of a bet.
  8. Marathonbet reserves the right to change, suspend or cancel the availability of the ‘Edit bet’ feature at any time, for any event outcomes or for any customers.

  3. While a complaint may be submitted within six months, please be aware that, due to the nature of live (in-play) betting, some related data is retained only for a limited time and may become unavailable shortly after the event. Therefore, we strongly recommend reporting any concerns as soon as possible, as prompt action may be required.

7. Sport Rules

7.1. General Sport Rules

  1. The date and start time of an event are for informational purposes only. For bet settlement, the start time is considered to be the actual time of the start of the event, as determined by the official organisation responsible for the event, match, etc.
  2. All bets placed after the actual start of an event will be void, except in the case of live bets and bets on events with odds that are updated during the course of the match.
  3. An event is considered postponed or cancelled if the officially scheduled start time is altered.
  4. If, for any reason, a match or a competition is postponed or rescheduled to start more than 30 hours after the originally scheduled start time, all bets on that competition will be void.
  5. If, for any reason, a match or a competition is postponed and starts within 30 hours of the originally scheduled start time, all bets will stand. If an interrupted match or a competition is not restarted within 30 hours, all bets will be void, unless the market result has already been determined. This rule does not apply to the events which can take over 30 hours in their regular course.
  6. If a participant withdraws before the start of the event, all bets on that participant will be void.
  7. If a participant withdraws after the competition has already started for any reason (injury, retirement, etc.), all bets placed before the start of the last round in which that participant took part will stand, and the remainder of the bets will be void.
  8. All bets are settled based on the award ceremony or official final standings, disregarding the results of any subsequent investigations or disqualifications.
  9. If the initial set of participants (teams, individuals) of an event (match, match-up or fight) is changed to a different one, all bets on that event will be cancelled. The age specified in a team name is for informational purposes only. Whilst every effort is taken to ensure data accuracy, Marathonbet will not be liable for incorrect information.
  10. In the case of a match format alteration that affects the duration of the normal time of the match, all bets will be void.
In the case of a match format alteration (number of played halves, periods, etc.) that does not affect the duration of the normal time of the match, all bets will stand excluding bets on match parts (halves, periods, etc.).
In the case of a match format alteration (number of sets, etc.), all bets will be void excluding bets on sets, games, points, etc.
In the case of a set format alteration (number of games, points, etc.), all bets will be void excluding bets on games, points, etc.
All bets stand if information on match format alterations is stated in the event or competition details.
  11. In team competitions, the following terms are used: Hosts (home teams) and Guests (away teams). Hosts and Guests are marked with numbers 1 and 2 respectively. The only exceptions are the events with names that include venue names. For such events numbers 1 and 2 are used for reference only, and the terms Hosts and Guests are not applied.
  12. If a match was played at a neutral venue and this fact had not been announced beforehand, then all bets remain valid. In this case numbers 1 and 2 are used for reference only, and the terms Hosts and Guests are not applied. If a match was played at the venue belonging to the Guests, all bets will be void.
  13. Normal time is the duration of the match as stated in the rules of competition in the sport, including additional time, but excluding extra time, overtimes, penalty shootouts etc.
  14. Bets on match parts (halves, quarters, periods, etc.) are settled based on the result of this particular part of the match, not on the basis of the current match score. Bets on the last part of the match are settled based on the result, disregarding extra time, penalty shootouts, overtimes, etc. If a match is interrupted and is not finished within the time frame set in the current rules, all bets on the match parts that haven’t been played or finished will be void, unless the market result has already been determined.
  15. To Win Match with Handicap (3-way). Bets on the Team to Win selection are considered winners if the winning margin of goals (points, yellow cards, etc.) is strictly over the selected negative handicap value for the selected team or strictly under the selected positive handicap value for the selected team. If the winning margin of goals (points, yellow cards, etc.) is equal to the selected handicap, bets on the Draw are considered winners.
  16. Totals betting (3-way). Bets on the Under selection are considered winners if the resulting number of goals (points, yellow cards, etc.) is strictly lower than the selected value. Bets on the Exactly selection are considered winners if the resulting number of goals (points, yellow cards, etc.) is equal to the selected value. Bets on the Over selection are considered winners if the resulting number of goals (points, yellow cards, etc.) is strictly higher than the selected value.
  17. Match-up betting on events with 2 participants. If both participants achieve the same result, and а price for the draw is not offered, all bets will be void. If any one of the participants fails to take part in an event, all bets will be void.
  18. Match-up betting on events with 3 participants. If all participants achieve the same result, all bets will be void. If 2 of the 3 participants achieve the same result, the dead heat rule will apply. If any one of the 3 participants fails to take part in an event, all bets will be void.
  19. Additional information stated in event details shall take precedence over the Sport by Sport Rules (Section 7.2). The Sport by Sport Rules shall take precedence over the General Rules (Section 7.1).
  20. Sports and cases not covered by specific rules regarding bet placement or bet settlement are subject to the General Sport Rules and General Rules.
  21. Bets on statistics are settled based on data from the sports statistics sources listed below. Marathonbet reserves the right to choose any of the listed sports statistics sources for bet settlement.
    Sports statistics sources:

  6. Scorecasts: To win you must predict both the player that will score the first goal in the match and also the correct score at the end of full time. Bets on related outcomes for the same event are accepted at adjusted odds. If such a bet has been accepted at the full odds erroneously, it will be settled at the appropriate, altered odds for the combination. The score 0-0 and No Goalscorer is settled as a correct score single. If your selected player joins the match after the first goal has been scored or does not take part in the game, then Scorecast bets will revert to a single on the correct score. Own goals do not count. If the first goal in the match is an own goal, then the Scorecast bet will be settled based on who scores the next goal and on the correct match score. If all goals in the match are own goals, the Scorecast bet will revert to a single Correct Score bet. If the match is abandoned after a goal has been scored and not completed in accordance with General Sport Rules, then all bets will be settled as First Goalscorer singles at the appropriate odds.
  7. Order of Goals (team): Own goals count for the side credited with the goal. If there is no goal, then ‘No Goals’ or ‘Neither’ bets will be settled as winners.
  8. Goals and Scoring Times, and Interval markets (interval result, interval goals, interval totals, interval corners etc.): For settlement purposes, the time 14:59 is counted as the 15th minute, the time 15:00 is counted as the 16th minute.
  9. Cards: Cards shown for a foul or incident during the half-time interval or after the final whistle has been blown will not count. Cards shown to non-players (e.g. managers, coaching staff, players after they have been substituted or substitutes who have not yet been used) do not count. A second yellow card awarded to the same player counts only as a Red (i.e. in a Total Yellow Cards market, a second yellow card issued to the same player will not count). If the first cards shown involve two or more players from different teams being booked/sent off following the same incident, bets on the market ‘Next Yellow/Red Card’ will be void.
  10. Corner Betting: Corners awarded but not taken will not count for settlement purposes (e.g. a corner awarded but not taken before the final whistle will not count). If a referee orders a corner to be retaken this will only count once.
  11. Manager Betting: If we offer prices on a team’s next manager, next manager to be sacked etc. and it comes to light that bets may have been placed after the decision has been made, then we reserve the right to void these bets. Manager markets will always be on an ‘others on request’ basis.
  12. Team to Win from Behind: The team must be losing at any stage during the match and have won the match at the end of full time.
  13. Team to Win to Nil: The team must win at the end of full time and not allow the opposing team to score.
  14. Goal by Header (first, last, any): Headed own goals do not count. If there are no goals in the match, ‘No’ is the winner of this market.
  15. Player to Score 2 Goals & 3 or More Goals: Bets predicting that any player must score exactly 2 or 3 or more goals respectively. Own goals do not count.
  16. Additional Time Goal: Bets predicting that any player will score a goal during additional time in either the 1st or 2nd half.
  17. Penalty Shootout Markets: All bets are based on the penalties actually taken, even if the result of the shootout is determined before the scheduled number have been taken.
  18. Substitute to Score: Own goals do not count. If there are no goals in the match, ‘No’ is the winner of this market.
  19. Total Goal Minutes: A goal scored during additional time is considered as a goal scored during the last minute of the 1st or 2nd half of regular time.
  20. To Occur First: If neither of the two market selections has occurred during the match, bets on this market will be void.
  21. Shots on Target and Total Shots. For bet settlement purposes, goals scored count towards the Shots on Target and Total Shots statistics, while own goals do not count.
  22. Hit Post or Crossbar. When settling bets on Hit Post or Crossbar, the event is considered to have taken place if the ball hits the post or crossbar and remains in play. If the ball rebounds off the post or crossbar and hits the opposite post and/or crossbar without touching any players or the referee, it counts as one hit. A hit on the post or crossbar doesn’t count if the match was stopped before the shot, if the shot was made in breach of the rules as determined by the referee or if, after hitting the post or crossbar, the ball went out of play without touching any outfield players, the goalkeeper or the referee, or crossed the goal line and a goal was awarded.
  23. Video Assistant Referee (VAR). When settling bets on Video Assistant Referee (VAR), the event is considered to have taken place if the head referee signals for a video review (the referee draws a rectangle in the air) or personally uses the pitchside monitor. A Video Assistant Referee (VAR) event is not considered to have taken place if a ‘Goal Check’ message appears on the scoreboard, or the head referee communicates with the assistants via a headset.
  24. Medical Team. When settling bets on the medical team entering the pitch, the event is considered to have taken place if the medical team enters the pitch with the referee’s permission and provides treatment to a player. The medical team’s entry doesn’t count if treatment is provided during a half-time break or a drinks pause, or if a player is treated off the pitch behind the touchline. If the referee calls on medical teams from both sides at the same time, this counts as one entry by the medical team.
  25. For statistical markets, bets are settled based on whether the event actually took place. For example, a foul will only count towards settlement if the resulting free kick/penalty was actually taken.

7.2.23. Futsal

  1. All markets are based on the result at the end of normal time for each relevant period (40 minutes of play, 2 halves of 20 minutes or 50 minutes of play, 2 halves of 25 minutes), unless specifically detailed otherwise. Extra time and six-metre shootouts count on bets for markets Match Winner, To Qualify, Winner etc. For bets to stand, a match of 40 minutes must be played for at least 35 minutes, or a match of 50 minutes must be played for at least 45 minutes, unless the market has already been determined.

7.2.24. Gaelic Football/Hurling

  1. All markets are based on the result at the end of full time (70 minutes of play, 2 halves of 35 minutes or 60 minutes of play, 2 halves of 30 minutes), unless specifically detailed otherwise. A match must be played completely for bets to stand, unless the market has already been determined.
  2. All match markets are determined using the total game score (Goal = 3, individual point = 1).

For example, in a match with a final score for Team A of 0-18 (0 – amount of goals, 18 – individual points) and Team B, of 2-10. Team A is the winner with 18 points as Team B scored only 16 points (2 goals of 3 points, plus 10 individual points).

7.2.25. Golf

  1. In tournaments affected by adverse weather, bets will be settled on the final placings providing a minimum of 36 holes have been played, unless the tournament is played on more than one course. In that instance, all players must have completed their rounds at each of the tournament courses for bets to stand. In the event of the number of scheduled rounds not being completed, all bets accepted after the last completed round shall be void and stakes refunded, unless a play-off determines the winner. In such cases only bets specifically taken for the play-off will stand.
  2. A player is deemed to have played once they have teed off. In the event of a player withdrawing after having teed off, stakes will be lost.
  3. If a tournament is decided by a play-off, this will count for determining the winner. Dead heat rules will apply for placing players on the same finishing score.
  4. Tournament Match Betting: The winner will be the player achieving the highest placing at the end of the tournament, including play-offs. If one player misses the cut, the other is deemed the winner. Where both players miss the cut, the lowest score after the cut has been made will determine settlement. If one player is disqualified, either prior to the completion of two rounds or after both players have made the cut, the other player is deemed the winner. If a player is disqualified during either the 3rd or 4th rounds, when their opponent has already missed the cut, the disqualified player is deemed the winner. If a price for the tie is not offered, a match involving players achieving the same placing will be void.
  5. Handicap Match Betting: One player will be given a handicap start against another, which will be added their final score. If any player misses the cut, withdraws or is disqualified, they will be deemed losers. If both players miss the cut, the handicap applies to their score at the time. The match is void if both players withdraw or are disqualified or if one player does not start the tournament. If the scheduled number of rounds are not played, handicap bets will be void unless the outcome of the match has already been determined.
  6. Group Betting/Top U.K Players etc.: The winner will be the player that achieves the highest placing at the end of the tournament. Any player missing the cut will be considered a loser. If all players miss the cut, the lowest score after the cut has been made will determine settlement. Players are grouped together for betting purposes only. Non-starter no bet, Tattersalls Rule 4 may apply. Dead heat rules apply, except where the winner is determined by a play-off.
  7. Handicap Group Betting: A list of players will be allocated handicaps. Their final scores are adjusted by their handicap to determine the winner. Any players missing the cut will be losers unless insufficient players make the cut for the defined number of places. In such cases, these scores with their respective handicaps will be taken into account to determine placings behind those players who made the cut.
  8. 18 Hole Betting: The winner will be the player with the lowest score over 18 holes. In the event of a 2 or 3 ball being re-arranged or being displayed differently by us, all bets will stand on the groupings displayed when the bet was placed. If any players do not start, then that 2 or 3 ball will be void. In 2 ball betting, if both players achieve the same score and a price for the tie is not offered, bets will be void. In 3 ball betting, if all players achieve the same score bets will be void, otherwise dead heat rules will apply. When special bets are offered grouping more than 3 players over one round, dead heat rules will apply. Non-starter no bet, Tattersalls Rule 4 may apply.
  9. To Make/Miss the Cut: If a player withdraws or is disqualified before the cut is made then they will be deemed a loser. Any player who makes the cut and then withdraws or is disqualified, will be deemed a winner. The bet is void if the player takes no part in the tournament.

7.2.26. Greyhounds

  1. There are various price types associated with Greyhound Racing.

EP (Early Price): Early prices are those offered before the 1st official show from the Greyhound track.

BP (Board Price): Board prices are the latest odds from the Greyhound track where the race is being staged and are compiled by officials taking an average of the prices offered at that time by on-course bookmakers.

SP (Starting Price): Starting prices are the final odds returned from the Greyhound track, which are compiled by officials taking an average of the final price offered by on-course bookmakers at the start of a race.

AP (Ante-Post Price): See section 6.5 for details on ante-post betting.
  2. Any bets placed on a greyhound at an early or board price will be deemed to be on the named greyhound, even if that greyhound is defined as a Trap Number. Should there be a non-runner, then all bets placed at an early or board price up to the time the greyhound is withdrawn will be settled at SP. Once the market has been reformed, further bets will be accepted and stand at the new odds or starting price, providing there are no further non-runners.
  3. If a bet is placed on a named greyhound or trap number at an early or board price and that greyhound is a non-runner, bets on that selection will be void, irrespective of whether or not a reserve runs.
  4. If a bet is placed on a Trap Number at SP, then bets stand on that trap number, even if the original greyhound is a non-runner and a reserve runs in its place. Where possible, we will endeavour to show when a reserve greyhound is running. All bets placed on a named greyhound which does not run (except ante-post bets) will be treated as non-runners.
  5. Trap Challenge: Prices are offered for each trap to win the most races at one selected meeting or alternatively at two or more selected greyhound meetings combined. If 3 or more races in a Trap Challenge are not run for any reason (void race, meeting abandoned etc.), then that Trap Challenge will be void unless the winner has already been determined at that stage. The Trap Challenge is unaffected by reserves or vacant traps. If a race finishes as a dead heat, each trap will receive a ‘half-win’ (three-way dead heat ‘one third-win’ etc.). If two or more traps record the same number of wins, dead heat rules apply.
  6. Re-Run Races: Where a race has been declared void and is re-run, all bets will stand for the greyhounds that take part in the re-run. Prices returned on the re-run will govern the settlement. ‘Show Prices’ laid on void races will not be valid for a re-run race, and such bets will be settled at the returned Starting Price. A re-run greyhound race is taken in the order which it was originally placed in the programme, irrespective of the time at which it was re-run.
  7. Where a race has been declared void and is not re-run, all bets for that race will be made void. In multiple bets, any selection in a void race will be counted as a non-runner.
  8. Winning Distances: Distance markets may be available at certain meetings. The maximum make up per race is 10 lengths. If any race is not run or is declared void and not re-run, then all bets will be void, unless the winner of the market has already been determined.

7.2.27. Handball

  1. All markets are based on the result at the end of normal time for each relevant period (60 minutes of play, 2 halves of 30 minutes), unless specifically detailed otherwise. Extra time and 7-metre shootouts count on bets for markets To Qualify, To Be Promoted, Winner etc. A match must be played for at least 50 minutes for bets to stand, unless the market has already been determined.
  2. Next Team to Score: Bets predicting the next team to score will be available on selected matches whilst they are in progress. If no further goals are scored, then all bets placed on this market will be void.

7.2.28. Horse Racing

  1. There are various price types associated with Horse Racing.

EP (Early Price): Early prices for each horse are those offered 24 or 48 hours before the day of the race, depending on the race type.

BP (Board Price): Board prices are the latest odds on the day of the race, from the racecourse where the race is being staged and are compiled as an average of the prices of the racecourse bookmakers.

SP (Starting Price): Starting prices are the final odds from the racecourse, at the actual start of the race and are compiled as an average of the prices of the racecourse bookmakers.

AP (Ante-Post Price): See section 6.5 for details on ante-post betting.
  2. Where a named selection is doubly engaged, the bet will stand for the race which was selected at the time the bet was placed.
  3. The place stake of a bet may be restricted on certain types of races. In these circumstances, the bet available will be displayed clearly before acceptance is confirmed.
  4. Withdrawals and Non-Runners: Where a horse is withdrawn before coming under starter’s orders, or is officially deemed by the starter to have taken no part in the race, stakes will be returned on the withdrawn horse and winning bets will be subject to deductions in accordance with Tattersalls Rule 4(c). The rate of deduction will be announced by SIS or an alternative supplier, based on the following scale:
Price of non-runner at time of withdrawalAmount deducted from winnings
    1/9 or shorter90c for each €1
    2/11 to 2/1785c for each €1
    1/4 to 1/580c for each €1
    3/10 to 2/775c for each €1
    2/5 to 1/370c for each €1
    8/15 to 4/965c for each €1
    8/13 to 4/760c for each €1
    4/5 to 4/655c for each €1
    20/21 to 5/650c for each €1
Evs to 6/545c for each €1
    5/4 to 6/440c for each €1
    13/8 to 7/435c for each €1
    15/8 to 9/430c for each €1
    5/2 to 3/125c for each €1
    10/3 to 4/120c for each €1
    9/2 to 11/215c for each €1
    6/1 to 9/110c for each €1
    10/1 to 14/15c for each €1
    Over 14/1No Deduction
  5. In the event of two or more horses being withdrawn before coming under starter’s orders, the total deductions shall not exceed €0.9 for each €1. Should a horse be withdrawn and a new market formed, then any bets laid at ‘show’ prices prior to the new show will be subject to the above deductions. In the event of a further withdrawal after the market has been reformed, bets placed at ‘show’ prices in the original market will be subject to a further deduction based on the price of the withdrawn horse in the original market. Bets placed in the new market will be subject to a deduction based on the current price.
  6. The above scale will also apply to non-runners in early price races and also to any other event where Tattersalls Rule 4 (c) deductions apply. The deduction in such cases will be determined by the price of the withdrawn selection at the time the market was reformed, or the last price if the market was not subsequently reformed. In the event that there is insufficient time to form a new market on a race, SP bets may also be subject to a ‘Rule 4’ deduction based on the above table.
  7. Re-Runs: In the event of a false start etc. resulting in a race being re-run, stakes will be refunded on horses taking no part in the re-run, with returns on remaining runners subject to Tattersalls Rule 4 (c). Place Terms are governed by the number of runners taking part in the re-run.
  8. If a race is declared void, or only 1 runner is left prior to the start, then all selections in these races will be treated as a non-runner for settling purposes.
  9. Double Result betting (i.e. Settlement on either First Past the Post or official result) may be offered as a concession on occasions, namely where we pay both on the official result and a disqualified winner. If we are offering this concession, it will be shown in the ‘Bonuses / Offers’ section in the Help section and the following conditions will apply: a double result will not be paid if a selection takes the wrong course, carries the wrong weight, the jockey fails to weigh in, the judge calls the wrong result or in the case of a void race or any ante-post bet. The offer will only apply to Win Singles (or the win part of each-way singles) on Horse Racing in the UK and Ireland. There will be a maximum stake; this concession will apply to which will be displayed in the ‘Bonuses / Offers’ section in the Help section.
  10. Favourite Points Market: Scoring System: 25 Points for a win, 10 points for second place, and 5 points for third place. Where there are joint or co-favourites, the one with the lowest race card number will be taken. If no SP is returned, the favourite will be the first priced runner quoted in the Racing Post betting forecast. If the favourite is withdrawn then 10 points are awarded for that race. All bets will be settled on the official result after the weigh-in. In the event of a walkover, the favourite will make up at 10 points. If the meeting is not completed, bets will stand provided the winning market has already been established. In the event of a dead heat the points will be divided. A favourite that dead heats for first place will be awarded 17.5 points.
  11. Aggregate Distances Market: The maximum distance per race is 12 lengths for flat races, 30 lengths for national hunt races (incl. national hunt flat races). Official winning distances are calculated as follows:

    Dead Heat:0
    Nose:0.05
    Short Head:0.1
    Head:0.2
    Neck:0.3
    1/2 length:0.5
    3/4 length:0.75
    1 length:1.0
  12. In the event of a horse finishing alone, the maximum make-up will apply. In the event of a walkover, 2 lengths will be awarded for a flat race and 6 lengths will be awarded for a national hunt race. The distance will be based on the official result after weigh-in. Any runner taking the wrong course or carrying an incorrect weight will be ignored when the winning distance is calculated. If the meeting is not completed bets will stand providing the winning selection has already been established.
  13. Match Betting: Where betting is offered on which horse will finish in front of another, at least one of the two selections must complete the course for bets to stand. Should neither selection complete the course, bets will be void. In the case of a non-runner, or both runners dead heating, bets on that match will be made void.
  14. Win/Not to Win bets: On certain races a ‘not to win’ price may be offered. Depending on a selections price to win the race, the ‘not to win’ option may not be available on that selection. If there are any non-runners, then Tattersalls Rule 4 may apply (see section 4, ‘Horse Racing’) by reducing the ‘win’ odds and lengthening the ‘not to win’ odds proportionally. Double Result (see section 9, Horse Racing) and Best Odds Guaranteed do not apply to ‘not to win’ bets. Combining ‘not to win’ bets with selections from the same race are not permitted. Should a race be reduced to two runners, then all ‘not to win’ bets on that race will be void. Dead heat rules apply as normal to ‘not to win’ bets.
  15. Placed / Not to Be Placed: On certain races a ‘to be placed’ or ‘not to be placed’ price may be offered. The 'not to be placed' option may not be available on the selection, depending on the price of the ‘to be placed’ option. If there are any non-runners, the number of places paid will remain the same as when the bet was struck, unless the final number of runners is less or equal to the number of places paid. In such cases, all bets will be void. In the case of non-runners, a Rule 4 deduction using the Place Only Rule 4 deduction table shown below may apply, which will reduce the ‘to be placed’ odds and lengthen the ‘not to be placed odds’ proportionally. The Rule 4 deduction is based on the price of the non-runner to be placed and the number of paid places at the time of withdrawal. Double Result (see section 9, Horse Racing) and Best Odds Guaranteed do not apply to ‘to be placed’ or ‘not to be placed’ bets. Combining ‘to be placed’ or ‘not to be placed’ bets with selections from the same race are not permitted. Dead heat rules apply as normal to ‘to be placed’ or ‘not to be placed’ bets.

In the event of two or more horses being withdrawn before coming under starter’s orders, the total deductions shall not exceed €0.9 for each €1.

7.2.29. Horse Racing from outside the UK and Ireland

  1. In countries where bookmakers operate and an official starting price is returned, bets are accepted in accordance with our general rules and any additional rules applicable to the country concerned.
  2. In countries where there is no starting price market in operation, bets are accepted at Pari-Mutuel (Tote) returns for the following:
    • 1. Win and Each Way

The place part of each-way bets will be settled in accordance with the returned place dividends. Horses in the same ownership are generally coupled in the ‘Win Pool’ only. However, in some countries (for example USA), horses are coupled in all pools and coupling may occur for reasons other than ownership. Where a coupled horse is a non-runner, win and each-way bets specifically nominating the non-runner will be made void.
    • 2. Place Only

Place only bets are accepted for singles. We do not accept doubles, trebles, etc. involving place only bets. In countries where additional place pools operate, place bets or the place part of each-way bets will be settled in accordance with the ‘123 Show Pool’, unless the words ‘Place 1-2’ are indicated.
    • 3. Forecasts

Straight or dual forecasts are accepted depending on the type of forecast in operation, unless special rules are advertised, in which case bets will be settled only at Industry/Marathonbet special straight forecast odds (on US racing only straight forecasts are accepted).
    • 4. Show Prices and Industry Starting Prices

Where SIS or an alternative external supplier provide betting shows and an Industry SP (based on bookmakers prices), ALL bets will be settled at these prices. In instances where no Industry SP is made available, bets will be settled at Pari-Mutuel returns.
    • 5. Unnamed Favourites

Unnamed Favourites, second favourites etc. are not accepted at Pari-Mutuel odds.

7.2.30. Ice Hockey

  1. All markets are based on the result at the end of regular time for each relevant period (60 minutes of play, 3 periods of 20 minutes), unless specifically detailed otherwise. Overtime and shootouts count for bets on Match Winner, To Qualify, To Be Promoted, Winner and other such markets. Overtime resulting from aggregate scores over two matches counts for bets on To Qualify, To Be Promoted, Winner and other such markets. A match must be played for at least 50 minutes for bets to stand, unless the market has already been determined.
  2. Player Points (Goals + Assists): The player must play in the game for more than one second for bets to stand.
  3. Goals and Scoring Times, and Interval markets (interval result, interval goals, interval totals etc.): For settlement purposes, the time 04:59 is counted as the 5th minute, and the time 05:00 is counted as the 6th minute.
  4. Number of Minor Penalties: A double-minor counts as two separate minor penalties.
  5. Team to Win from Behind: The team must be losing at any stage during the match and have won the match at the end of full time.
  6. Team to Win to Nil: The team must have won at the end of full time and must have not allowed the opposing team to score.

7.2.31. Indoor Soccer

  1. All markets are based on the result at the end of full time, unless specifically detailed otherwise. Extra time and penalty shootouts count on bets for markets To Qualify, To Be Promoted, Winner etc. A match must be played completely for bets to stand, unless the market has already been determined.

7.2.32. MMA

  1. A fight is defined as having started once the timer for the first round begins. If a fighter cannot continue the fight before the timer has started for the beginning of the next round, the fight is defined as having finished in the previous round.
  2. Fight Result (3-way): All bets are based on the official fight result, including the Draw selection.
Fight Result (2-way): All bets are based on the official fight result, excluding the Draw selection. If a fight ends in a tie, all bets placed on the market will be void.
  3. Fight Result. Round; Fight Result. Grouped Rounds; Fight Ending. Round. If, for any reason, a points decision is awarded or a fighter is disqualified before the full number of rounds have been completed, bets will be settled on the round in which the fight was stopped. Bets that nominate the 'full distance winner' will only be deemed winners if the full number of rounds are completed.
  4. Total Rounds. Only completed rounds are considered for bet settlement. A round is considered completed when the time allotted for that round has finished.
  5. In the event of a 'no contest' being declared, or a fight being abandoned for any reason before the completion of the contest, all bets will be made void unless otherwise stated or the result of the market had already been determined.
  6. In the case of a fight format alteration (number of rounds), all bets will be void, excluding Fight Result markets (2-way and 3-way).

7.2.33. Motor Racing

  1. The start of a race, session, stage, etc. is defined as the signal to start the warm-up lap. Any driver on the grid at this time and failing to be classified as finished under governing body rules will be deemed to be a runner and a non-finisher.
  2. In the event of a race, session, stage, etc. being abandoned or postponed with no official result declared, all bets will be void unless the market result has already been determined.
  3. Bets on team results in a single race, session, stage, etc. will be settled based on the results of the drivers achieving the highest place for their respective teams.
  4. Qualifying Markets: Bets will be settled according to the positions and times set during the final qualifying session. For the purposes of this bet, any subsequent adjustments of grid positions shall be disregarded. This rule also applies to match-up bets or other Qualifying Specials.

All other bets are based on the official match result, including overtimes. A match must be played for at least 50 minutes for matches of 60 minutes or 20 minutes for matches of 24 minutes for bets to stand, unless the market has already been determined. If a match ends in a tie, then all bets placed on the Match Winner market will be void.

  2. Bets on the number of medals will be settled on the official medal standings at the closing ceremony.
  3. If the competition, heat, race, discipline, run etc. is delayed, postponed or rescheduled for another venue for any reason, then all bets will stand until the end of the Olympic Games.
  4. Match-Up Betting (athlete or team) for events consisting of several heats, races, disciplines, runs, etc.:
    • All participants being compared must start the event for bets to stand.
    • All bets are based on the final standings. If neither competitor has a place in the final standings, all bets will be void.

    • All participants being compared must start the event for bets to stand.
    • All bets are based on the final standings.
    • The competitor that reaches the latest stage of the competition will be considered the winner.
  6. Match-Up Betting (athlete or team) for an individual heat, race, discipline, run, etc.:

7.2.36. Rugby League & Rugby Union

  1. All markets are based on the result at the end of normal time for each relevant period (80 minutes of play, 2 halves of 40 minutes), unless specifically detailed otherwise. Extra time and penalty shootouts count on bets for markets To Qualify, Winner etc. A match must be played completely for bets to stand, unless the market has already been determined.
  2. First Tryscorer: Bets on players not taking part in the match will be void, as will bets on the first tryscorer where the selection comes on after the first try is scored. Players that are substituted or sent off before the first try are losers. Penalty tries do not count. If the first try was scored by a player that is not quoted, then all bets that were placed on any other named player are losers subject to the previous rules, unless an ‘any unquoted’ selection is offered. A price will be quoted for No Tryscorer in all matches. If the match is abandoned before a try is scored all First Tryscorer bets will be void.

7.2.37. Sepak Takraw

  1. If a match is delayed or postponed for any reason, then all bets will stand until the end of the match or the end of the tournament, depending on which comes first.
  2. If a match is abandoned because of the retirement or disqualification of a team, bets on the Match Winner market will stand as long as one game (set) has been completed, otherwise these bets will be void. Bets on other markets will be void unless a definitive result for that market has already been determined. The team that progresses to the next round or to whom the victory is awarded will be deemed the winner.

7.2.38. Snooker

  1. If a player retires or is disqualified, bets will be void unless a definitive result for that market has already been determined. The player that progresses to the next round or that is awarded the victory will be deemed the winner.

7.2.40. Special Betting

Lotto/Numbers

  1. All bets are on the main draws only and do not include any Bonus ball(s) unless otherwise stated.
  2. If a draw is delayed or not drawn for any reason, then all bets will be void, unless it is rescheduled within 12 hours of the originally scheduled time.

Political Betting

  1. The settlement of bets for a General Election will be based on the party that wins the most seats or on the party winning the most votes for by-elections.
  2. All election markets are defined by the rules specific to the country where the election is taking place (i.e. most votes, seats etc.). Results will be defined by those officially announced at the end of voting and will stand, allowing for any legal challenges which may be raised.

TV Betting

  1. Outright bets on TV reality shows that are cancelled before completion with no official winner declared will be settled as a dead heat on all the remaining competitors left in the competition at the time. Outright bets on competitors who have already been eliminated or who have walked out will be settled as losers.

  1. If a match is delayed or postponed for any reason, then all bets will stand until the end of the match or the end of the tournament, depending on which comes first.
  2. If a match is abandoned because of the retirement or disqualification of a player, bets on the Match Winner market will stand as long as one game has been completed, otherwise these bets will be void. Bets on other markets will be void unless a definitive result for that market has already been determined. The player who progresses to the next round or to whom the victory is awarded will be deemed the winner.

7.2.43. Table Tennis

  1. If a match is delayed or postponed for any reason, then all bets will stand until the end of the match or the end of the tournament.
  2. If a player retires or is disqualified, bets on the match result will stand as long as one set has been completed, otherwise these bets will be void. Bets on other markets will be void unless a definitive result for that market has already been determined. The player that progresses to the next round or that is awarded the victory after the first set has been completed will be deemed the winner.

7.2.44. Tennis

  1. If a player retires or is disqualified, bets on the match result will stand as long as one set has been completed, otherwise these bets will be void. Bets on other markets will be void unless a definitive result for that market has already been determined. The player that progresses to the next round or that is awarded a victory after the first set has been completed will be deemed the winner.
The following examples are based on a 3-set match for Match, Set and Total betting markets.
Example No. 1: The match Nadal vs Federer is abandoned with the score 1:0 (6:2, 0:3) because of Nadal retiring. All bets on Nadal (-2.5), Federer (+2.5), Over/Under 21.5, Set Betting 2-0, 2-1, 1-2 will be void. All bets on 1st Set, Match Result, Set Betting 0-2 will be settled as winners/losers respectively.
Example No. 2: The match Nadal vs Federer is abandoned with the score 1:1 (6:4, 0:6, 0:1) because of Nadal retiring. Bets on Federer (+3.5) will be settled as winners and bets on Nadal (-3.5) will be settled as losers, because the bet on Nadal (-3.5) could not win whatever the last set score was, had the match reached its natural conclusion. Bets on Over/Under 21.5 in the match will be settled as winners/losers respectively, since any natural conclusion to the match would have resulted in at least 22 games being played. All bets on 1st Set, 2nd Set, Match Result, Set Betting 2-0, 0-2 will be settled as winners/losers respectively. Bets on Set Betting 2-1, 1-2 will be void.
Example No. 3: The match Nadal vs Federer is abandoned with the score 0:0 (4:4) because of Nadal retiring. Bets on Over/Under 9.5 in the 1st Set will be settled as winners/losers respectively, since any natural conclusion to the set would have resulted at least 10 games being played. All non-determined 1st set over/under games and other bets will be void.
  2. In the event of a change in the total number of sets played, match bets will stand so long as one set has been completed. All bets on Set Betting, Game Handicap and Total Games will be void. All other bets will also be void, unless a specific market result has already been determined; in which case all bets placed on those markets will stand.
  3. In the event of the following circumstances taking place, all bets will stand:
    • 1) a change of playing surface;
    • 2) a change of venue;
    • 3) a change from indoor court to outdoor court.
  4. If a match is delayed or postponed for any reason, then all bets will stand until the end of the match or the end of the tournament.
  5. If a super tie break is used to decide the final set, this is counted as a set consisting of one game.

7.2.45. Volleyball

  1. Bets on points: Bets are available on selected matches whilst they are in progress. Bets are settled on the official match result. If the results of one or several points are cancelled by the referees’ decision, all bets on these points will be settled on the result after the order of points has been adjusted. In the event that points remain unplayed after a set is concluded, bets on unplayed points will be void.

Example: In a match between Brazil and Italy, when the score was 24-20 (44 rally points), a rules violation was detected on the Italian side (players’ placement, improper substitution, etc.). The referees determined that the violation was made when the score was 16-16 (32 rally points). All of the Italian team’s points after the score 16-16 will be cancelled, and the Brazilian team’s points will remain valid. The score is adjusted to 24-16 (40 rally points). In the event that the set ends with the score at 25-17, the bets settlement procedure will be as follows: points from 33 up to 40 – Brazil wins, points 41,42 – settled on the result after replay (one point to Italy and one point to Brazil), points 43,44 are consequently unplayed and will be void.

7.2.46. Water Polo

  1. All markets are based on the result at the end of normal time for each relevant period (32 minutes of play, 4 quarters of 8 minutes), unless specifically detailed otherwise. Extra time and 5-metre shoots count on bets for markets To Qualify, Winner etc. A match must be played for at least 28 minutes for bets to stand, unless the market has already been determined.

7.2.47. Winter Sports

  1. The start of the competition is defined as the start of the first qualifying round.
  2. If the competition, heat, race, discipline, run, etc. is delayed or postponed for any reason, then all bets will stand until the end of the tournament or the end of the stage at which it is scheduled.
  3. Match-Up Betting (athlete or team) for competitions consisting of several heats, races, disciplines, runs, etc.:
    • All participants being compared must start the event for bets to stand.
    • All bets are based on the places in the final standings. If neither competitor has a place in the final standings, all bets will be void.
  4. Match-Up Betting (athlete or team) for competitions that are held using a play-off system:
    • All participants being compared must start the event for bets to stand.
    • All bets are based on the places in the final standings.
    • The competitor who has reached a later stage of the competition is the winner.
  5. Match-Up Betting (athlete or team) for individual heats, races, disciplines, runs, etc.:
    • All participants being compared must start the heat, race, discipline, run, etc. for bets to stand.
    • All bets are based on the places in the final standings of the heat, race, discipline, run, etc. If neither competitor has a place in the final standings of the heat, race, discipline, run, etc., all bets will be void.
  6. If the competition consisting of several heats, races, disciplines, runs, etc. is finished ahead of schedule, all bets made after the last heat, race, discipline, run, etc. will be void. All other bets are settled on the basis of the final standings.
  7. Biathlon. Total Misses: Shots missed using additional rounds count towards total misses. If a competitor (athlete or team) has not completed all the required shooting rounds, all bets will be void unless a definitive result for the market has already been determined.

8. Bet Glossary

8.1. Singles

  1. A single is a bet on one selection in one event. Your selection must be successful for your bet to win.

For example, a €10 bet on a winning selection at 6/4 (Decimal equivalent: 2.50) is calculated as:
    €10 x 2.50 = €25.00 Payout. The total profit on this bet €15.00.

8.2. Each-Way Bet

  1. An each-way single consists of two bets on one selection, the first bet ‘to Win’ and the second bet on that selection ‘to be Placed’. The specific terms of the each-way bet will vary depending on the number of runners/players and, if the bet is an ante-post or sports bet, the ‘to be Placed’ odds available at the time the bet was made. The ‘to be Placed’ odds are comprised of 2 parts and are shown in the following manner: 1/4 1.2.3. In this instance the '1/4' represents the amount the 'Win' odds are multiplied by and the '1.2.3' shows the number of ‘Placed’ positions on which we pay out.

For example, a selection may have ‘Win’ odds of 10/1 (11.00) and the each-way terms of that event may be 1/4 1.2.3. If a bet of €1 each-way (total cost €2) is ’Placed’ on these terms, the settlement would be calculated as follows:

If the selection finished first (Won).
    €1 Win at 10/1 (11.00) returns €11.00 (profit €10.00)
    The price for a Place is calculated as 10 x 1/4 = 10/4 (3.50)
    €1 Place at 10/4 (3.50) returns €3.50 (profit €2.50)
    Total Payout €14.50
    Total Profit €12.50.

If the selection was Placed 2nd or 3rd
    €1 Win at 10/1 (11.00) Loses
    The price for a Place is calculated as 10 x 1/4 = 10/4 (3.50)
    €1 Place at 10/4 (3.50) returns €3.50 (profit €2.50)
    Total Payout €3.50
    Total Profit €1.50.

  2. The ‘to be Placed’ terms for Horse & Greyhound races are shown in the tables within Section 6.6, Each-Way Terms.

8.3. Doubles

  1. A win double consists of one bet involving two selections from different events. Both selections must be successful for your bet to win.
  2. An each-way double consists of two bets on two selections, the first bet on both selections to win and the second bet on both selections to be placed. Both of the bets are settled separately, and the payout on the each-way double equals the total payout amount for both of the two bets. The specific terms of the each-way bet will vary depending on the number of runners/players and, if it is an ante-post or sports bet, the place odds available at the time the bet was placed.

    For example, a €10 Double, both winners, at 1.50 & 2.60 (Fractional equivalent: 1/2 & 8/5) is calculated as:

    €10 x 1.50 x 2.60 = €39.00

This bet will have a total return of €39.00, giving a total profit of €29.00.

8.4. Trebles

  1. A win treble consists of one bet involving three selections from different events. All three selections must be successful for your bet to win.
  2. An each-way treble consists of two bets on three selections, the first bet on all selections to win and the second bet on all selections to be placed. Both of the bets are settled separately and the payout on the each-way treble equals the total payout amount for both of the bets. The specific terms of the each-way bet will vary depending on the number of runners/players and, if it is an ante-post or sports bet, the place odds available at the time the bet was placed.

    For example, a €10 Treble, all winners, at 1.50, 2.00 & 2.60 (Fractional equivalent: 1/2, Evens & 8/5) is calculated as:

    €10 x 1.50 x 2.00 x 2.60 = €78.00

This bet will have a total return of €78.00, giving a total profit of €68.00.

8.5. Folds

  1. A fold is a full combination of multiple bets for a given number of selections. Therefore, if you choose 7 selections the bet types allowed will include the following:

    Folds4 (all combinations of 4 from 7) 35 bets

    Folds5 (all combinations of 5 from 7) 21 bets

    Folds6 (all combinations of 6 from 7) 7 bets

    For example, a €2 five-fold, all winners, at 2.00, 1.80, 1.60, 2.00 & 1.25 (Fractional equivalent: Evens, 4/5, 3/5, Evens & 1/4) is calculated as:

    €2 x 2.00 x 1.80 x 1.60 x 2.00 x 1.25 = €28.80

This bet will have a total return of €28.80, giving a total profit of €26.80.

8.6. Accumulator

  1. A win accumulator consists of 4 or more selections from different events. All of the selections must be successful for your bet to win.
  2. An each-way accumulator consists of two bets on 4 or more selections, the first bet on all selections to win and the second bet on all selections to be placed. Both of the bets are settled separately and the payout on the each-way accumulator is equal to the total payout amount for both of the two bets. The specific terms of the each-way bet will vary depending on the number of runners/players and, if it is an ante-post or sports bet, the place odds available at the time the bet was placed.

    For example, a €3 Accumulator on 8 selections, all winners, at 1.50, 1.40, 1.40, 1.30, 1.75, 1.80, 1.20 & 1.25 (Fractional equivalent: 1/2, 2/5, 2/5, 3/10,3/4, 4/5, 1/5 & 1/4) is calculated as:

    €3 x 1.50 x 1.40 x 1.40 x 1.30 x 1.75 x 1.80 x 1.20 x 1.25 = €54.18

This bet will have a total return of €54.18, giving a total profit of €51.18.

8.7. Lose-to-Win Accumulator

A Lose-to-Win accumulator is the opposite of an accumulator bet in terms of bet settlement (i.e. a Lose-to-Win accumulator bet will be a winning bet if the equivalent accumulator bet loses). In other words, the Lose-to-Win accumulator is a bet on two or more selections across different events, where you win if you are incorrect on at least one result.

(Please remember that, in an accumulator bet, all the selections must match the results in order for your bet to win).

The total price of the Lose-to-Win accumulator is calculated automatically and in proportion to the actual accumulator’s winning price.

Example: €100 is staked on a Lose-to-Win accumulator consisting of 3 selections at the following prices:

  • Selection 1: 1.50 (1/2)
  • Selection 2: 2.00 (1/1)
  • Selection 3: 2.60 (8/5)

The total price of an accumulator bet containing the above selections will be: 1.50 x 2.00 x 2.60 = 7.80 (34/5).

The total price for the Lose-to-Win accumulator is 1.08 (2/25).

The above Lose-to-Win accumulator has the following possibilities for settlement:

  1. If at least one selection does not match the specified result (guessed incorrectly), but the other selections match the specified results, then the settlement will be €100 х 1.08 = €108, and the net winnings (excluding the bet stake of €100) will be €8.

  2. If the 3rd selection is on an event declared void (settled at the price of 1.00 (0/1)), then the total price of the accumulator, opposite to the selected Lose-to-Win accumulator, decreases from 7.8 (34/5) to 3.0 (2/1): 1.50 x 2.00 x 1.00 = 3.00.

The total price of the Lose-to-Win accumulator will therefore increase accordingly from 1.08 (2/25) to 1.333 (1/3). If at least one selection does not match the specified result (guessed incorrectly), then the Lose-to-Win accumulator bet wins and the settlement will be:
    €100 х 1.333 = €133.30
    Net winnings: €133.30 - €100 (bet stake) = €33.30.

  3. If the 2nd and 3rd selections are on events declared void (settled at the price of 1.00 (0/1)), then the total price of the accumulator, opposite to the selected Lose-to-Win accumulator, decreases from 7.8 (34/5) to 1.5 (1/2): 1.50 x 1.00 x 1.00 = 1.50

The total price of the Lose-to-Win accumulator will therefore increase accordingly from 1.08 (2/25) to 2.50 (6/4). If Selection 1 does not match the result (guessed incorrectly) then the Lose-to-Win accumulator bet wins and the settlement will be:
    €100 х 2.50 = €250
    Net winnings: €250 - €100 (bet stake) = €150.

  4. If some selections match the results (guessed correctly) but the other selections are on events declared void (settled at the price of 1.00 (0/1)), then the Lose-to-Win accumulator bet will lose.

  5. If all selections in a Lose-to-Win accumulator are on void events (settlement price of 1.00 (0/1)), then the whole Lose-to-Win accumulator will be made void, and the bet stake will be returned to the account.

Please see the examples below on various settlement outcomes for a Lose-to-Win accumulator.

Each selection’s outcome is indicated as follows:

‘+’ Correctly guessed result.

‘-’ Incorrectly guessed result.

‘=’ Selection on events declared void. Settled at the price of 1.00 (0/1).

100.00 + = = 2.50 (6/4) 1.50 (1/2) 0.00 150.00

* Example: If the selection is on an event declared void (Settled at the price of 1.00 (0/1)), the price of the equivalent accumulator bet will be 2.00 x 2.60 = 5.20 (21/5). Therefore, the price of the Lose-to-Win accumulator will be 1.143 (1/7).

8.8. Trixie

  1. A Trixie consists of four bets involving three selections from different events, combining 3 doubles and 1 treble. A minimum of two of your selections must be successful to get a return.

8.9. Patent

  1. A Patent consists of seven bets involving three selections from different events, comprising 3 singles, 3 doubles and 1 treble. You only need one successful selection to guarantee a return.

8.10. Lucky 15

  1. A Lucky 15 consists of fifteen bets involving 4 selections from different events, combining 4 singles, 6 doubles, 4 trebles and 1 accumulator. You need only one winner to guarantee a return.
  2. In the event of one winner only, your winnings are doubled if all selections are chosen from Horse Racing or Greyhounds.
  3. For four winners out of four, a Bonus of 10% is added to winnings on the win part of the bet (winnings = the return for the win part of the bet minus the win stakes for that bet) if all selections are chosen from Horse Racing or Greyhounds.
  4. If a Lucky 15 contains a non-runner, no Bonuses will apply to that bet.

For example, if the 4 selections and their odds were:

    A = 2.00B = 3.50C = 4.00D = 1.50

    (Fractional equivalent: Evens, 5/2, 3/1 & 1/2)

    a) If all 4 selections won in a €1 Lucky 15, the winnings would be calculated as follows:

    4 x Singles

    SelectionsOddsPayout
    A2.00= 2.00
    B3.50= 3.50
    C4.00= 4.00
    D1.50= 1.50

    6 x Doubles

    SelectionsOddsPayout
    A + B2.00 x 3.50= 7.00
    A + C2.00 x 4.00= 8.00
    A + D2.00 x 1.50= 3.00
    B + C3.50 x 4.00= 14.00
    B + D3.50 x 1.50= 5.25
    C + D4.00 x 1.50= 6.00

    4 x Trebles

    SelectionsOddsPayout
    A + B + C2.00 x 3.50 x 4.00= 28.00
    A + B + D2.00 x 3.50 x 1.50= 10.50
    A + C + D2.00 x 4.00 x 1.50= 12.00
    B + C + D3.50 x 4.00 x 1.50= 21.00

    1 x Accumulator

    SelectionsOddsPayout
    A + B + C + D2.00 x 3.50 x 4.00 x 1.50= 42.00

Total Payout = €167.75 minus the stake of €15.00, leaving total winnings of €152.75.
As all 4 have won, the 10% Bonus on winnings applies (for Horse Racing and Greyhounds only, see Rule 8.10.3).
    Therefore the Bonus is 10% of €152.75 = €15.27

    Total payout is therefore €167.75 + €15.27 = €183.02
The cost of the bet is €15.00, leaving a profit in this instance of €168.02.

    b) Using the same odds and stake as above, if only selection C won and the other 3 selections lost, the winnings would be calculated as follows:

The only winning bet would be the single on Selection C, all other single and multiple bets would be losers.

As per Rule 8.10.2 above, with only 1 winner, your winnings are doubled, if all selections are chosen from Horse Racing or Greyhounds, therefore:
    €1 x €4.00 (payout) — €1 (stake) = €3.

Winnings on selection C with Bonus
    €3 x 2 = €6.00.

Payout on selection C with Bonus
    €6 (winnings) + €1 (stake) = €7.00

The cost of the bet is €15.00, leaving a loss in this instance of €8.00.

8.11. Lucky 31

  1. A Lucky 31 consists of 31 bets involving 5 selections from different events, combining 5 singles, 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and 1 accumulator. You need only one winner to guarantee a return.
  2. In the event of one winner only, your winnings are doubled if all selections are chosen from Horse Racing or Greyhounds (See example b in 8.10 (Lucky 15)).
  3. For five winners out of five a Bonus of 20% is added to winnings on the win part of the bet (winnings = the return for the win part of the bet minus the win stakes for that bet) if all selections are chosen from Horse Racing or Greyhounds.
  4. For four winners out of five a Bonus of 5% is added to winnings on the win part of the bet (winnings = the return for the win part of the bet minus the win stakes for that bet) if all selections are chosen from Horse Racing or Greyhounds. If the win return with four winners is less than the total win stake then no Bonus will be applied.
  5. If a Lucky 31 contains a non-runner, no Bonuses will apply to that bet.

8.12. Lucky 63

  1. A Lucky 63 consists of 63 bets involving 6 selections from different events, combining 6 singles, 15 doubles, 20 trebles, 15 four-folds, 6 five-folds and 1 accumulator. You need only one winner to guarantee a return.
  2. In the event of one winner only, your winnings are doubled if all selections are chosen from Horse Racing or Greyhounds (See example b in 8.10 (Lucky 15)).
  3. For six winners out of six, a Bonus of 25% is added to winnings on the win part of the bet (winnings = the return for the win part of the bet minus the win stakes for that bet) if all selections are chosen from Horse Racing or Greyhounds.
  4. For five winners out of six a Bonus of 15% is added to winnings on the win part of the bet (winnings = the return for the win part of the bet minus the win stakes for that bet). If the win return with five winners is less than the total win stake then no Bonus will be applied if all selections are chosen from Horse Racing or Greyhounds.
  5. If a Lucky 63 contains a non-runner, no Bonuses will apply to that bet.

8.13. Yankee

  1. A Yankee consists of 11 bets involving 4 selections from different events, comprising 6 doubles, 4 trebles and 1 accumulator. You need two successful selections to guarantee a return.

For example, if the 4 selections and their odds were:

    A = 2.00B = 3.50C = 4.00D = 1.50

    (Fractional equivalent: Evens, 5/2, 3/1 & 1/2)

    a) If all 4 selections won in a €1 Yankee, the winnings would be calculated as follows:

    6 x Doubles

    Selections Odds Payout
    A + B2.00 x 3.50= 7.00
    A + C2.00 x 4.00= 8.00
    A + D2.00 x 1.50= 3.00
    B + C3.50 x 4.00= 14.00
    B + D3.50 x 1.50= 5.25
    C + D4.00 x 1.50= 6.00

    4 x Trebles

    Selections Odds Payout
    A + B + C2.00 x 3.50 x 4.00= 28.00
    A + B + D2.00 x 3.50 x 1.50= 10.50
    A + C + D2.00 x 4.00 x 1.50= 12.00
    B + C + D3.50 x 4.00 x 1.50= 21.00

    1 x Accumulator

    Selections Odds Payout
    A + B + C + D2.00 x 3.50 x 4.00 x 1.50= 42.00

The total payout for this bet would be the total of all 11 winning bets, in this case €156.75. The bet would cost €11, leaving an overall profit of €145.75.

    b) Using the same odds and stake as above, if only 3 selections win and selection D loses, the winnings would be calculated as follows:

    6 x Doubles

    Selections Odds Payout
    A + B2.00 x 3.50= 7.00
    A + C2.00 x 4.00= 8.00
    A + D2.00 x Lose= Nil
    B + C3.50 x 4.00= 14.00
    B + D3.50 x Lose= Nil
    C + D4.00 x Lose= Nil

    4 x Trebles

    Selections Odds Payout
    A + B + C2.00 x 3.50 x 4.00= 28.00
    A + B + D2.00 x 3.50 x Lose= Nil
    A + C + D2.00 x 4.00 x Lose= Nil
    B + C + D3.50 x 4.00 x Lose= Nil

    1 x Accumulator

    Selections Odds Payout
    A + B + C + D2.00 x 3.50 x 4.00 x Lose= Nil

The total payout for this bet would be the total of all 4 winning bets, in this case €57.00 (the other 7 bets are losing bets). The bet would cost €11, leaving an overall profit of €46.00.

8.14. Super Yankee

  1. A Super Yankee (also known as a Canadian) consists of 26 bets involving 5 selections from different events, comprising 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and 1 accumulator. You need two successful selections to guarantee a return.

8.15. Heinz

  1. A Heinz consists of 57 bets involving 6 selections from different events, comprising 15 doubles, 20 trebles, 15 four-folds, 6 five-folds and 1 accumulator. You need two successful selections to guarantee a return.

8.16. Super Heinz

  1. A Super Heinz consists of 120 bets involving 7 selections from different events, comprising 21 doubles, 35 trebles, 35 four-folds, 21 five-folds, 7 six-folds and 1 accumulator. You need two successful selections to guarantee a return.

8.17. Goliath

  1. A Goliath consists of 247 bets involving 8 selections from different events, comprising 28 doubles, 56 trebles, 70 four-folds, 56 five-folds, 28 six-folds, 8 seven-folds and 1 accumulator. You need two successful selections to guarantee a return.

8.18. Round Robin

  1. A Round Robin consists of 10 bets involving 3 selections from different events, comprising 3 doubles, 1 treble and 6 Any-To-Come (ATC) single bets. This is where the whole or part of the return from one selection is automatically reinvested on another selection (see example below).
  2. Round Robins are only accepted on Horse Racing or Greyhound events, excluding ante-post events.

For example, if the 3 selections and their odds were:

A = 2.50B = 3.00C = 4.00

(Fractional equivalent: 6/4, 2/1 & 3/1)

a) If all selections won in a €1 Round Robin, the payout would be calculated as follows:

3 x Doubles

SelectionsOddsPayout
A + B2.50 x 3.00= 7.50
A + C2.50 x 4.00= 10.00
B + C3.00 x 4.00= 12.00

1 x Treble

SelectionsOddsPayout
A + B + C2.50 x 3.00 x 4.00= 30.00

6 x Any-To-Come Bets

(This means your stake goes on the first selection, and if there is any return then you get the same stake on the second selection. This stake for this extra bet will be deducted from the final returns)

€1A ATC* €1B = 2.50 + 3.00 As ‘A’ won, then €1 goes on ‘B’
€1B ATC€1A = 3.00 + 2.50 As ‘B’ won, then €1 goes on ‘A’
€1A ATC€1C = 2.50 + 4.00 As ‘A’ won, then €1 goes on ‘C’
€1C ATC€1A = 4.00 + 2.50 As ‘C’ won, then €1 goes on ‘A’
€1B ATC€1C = 3.00 + 4.00 As ‘B’ won, then €1 goes on ‘C’
€1C ATC€1B = 4.00 + 3.00 As ‘C’ won, then €1 goes on ‘B’

* - ATC (Any-To-Come)

The total payout from all the winning bets is €97.50.

The additional Any-To-Come stakes not included in the original stake is €6.00 (to be deducted from returns).

Therefore, the total returns are €91.50, the total stake paid was €10.00, leaving an overall profit of €81.50 for this bet.

b) If selections A & B won, and selection C lost, in a €1 Round Robin, the payout would be calculated as follows:

3 x Doubles

SelectionsOddsPayout
A + B2.50 x 3.00= 7.50
A + C2.50 x Lose= Nil
B + C3.00 x Lose= Nil

1 x Treble

SelectionsOddsPayout
A + B + C2.50 x 3.00 x Lose= Nil

6 x Any-To-Come Bets

(This means your stake goes on the first selection, and if there is any return then you get the same stake on the second selection. This stake for this extra bet will be deducted from the final returns)

€1A ATC* €1B = 2.50 + 3.00 As ‘A’ won, then €1 goes on ‘B’
€1B ATC€1A = 3.00 + 2.50 As ‘B’ won, then €1 goes on ‘A’
€1A ATC€1C = 2.50 + Lose As ‘A’ won, then €1 goes on ‘C’
€1C ATC€1A = Lose + N/A As ‘C’ lost, then no money goes on ‘A’
€1B ATC€1C = 3.00 + Lose As ‘B’ won, then €1 goes on ‘C’
€1C ATC€1B = Lose + N/A As ‘C’ lost, then no money goes on ‘B’

* - ATC (Any-To-Come)

The total payout from all the winning bets is €24.00.

The additional Any-To-Come stakes not included in the original stake is €4.00 (to be deducted from returns).

Therefore, the total returns are €20.00, the total stake paid was €10.00, leaving an overall profit of €10.00 for this bet.

c) If one selection won, e.g. C with odds = 4.00, and A and B lost in the above Round Robin bet, only 2 ATC bets will be winners, the total payout is calculated as follows:

1st Selection2nd Selection
€1C ATC*€1A = 4.0 + Lose As ‘C’ won, then €1 goes on ‘A’
€1C ATC€1B = 4.0 + Lose As ‘C’ won, then €1 goes on ‘B’

* - ATC (Any-To-Come)

The return from the two winning bets: €8.00.

The additional Any-To-Come stakes not included in the original stake is €2.00 (to be deducted from returns).

The total payout from the two ATC winning bets is €8.00 - €2.00 = €6.00.

Therefore, the total returns are €6.00. The total stake paid was €10.00, leaving an overall loss of €4.00 for this bet.

8.19. Flag

  1. A Flag consists of 23 bets involving 4 selections from different events, comprising 6 doubles, 4 trebles, 1 Accumulator and 12 Any-To-Come (ATC) single bets (i.e.a Flag is a Yankee plus 12 single ATC bets). Whole or part of the returns from one selection is automatically reinvested on another selection. See the Round Robin section, 8.18, above for details on Any-To-Come bets.
  2. Flags are only accepted on Horse Racing or Greyhound events, excluding ante-post events.

8.20. Straight Forecast

  1. A Straight Forecast bet is one where you choose two selections in a Horse or Greyhound race to finish first and second in the correct order. The odds for the forecast will not be known at the time you place your bet. A computer-generated straight forecast dividend (payout including stake) is declared soon after the result. In order to get a return, you must pick both the first and second placed selections in the correct order.
  2. The dividend is made using a complex mathematical formula primarily based on the starting prices of the horses or greyhounds concerned in the forecast. The calculation is made by the PA (Press Association) and SIS (Satellite Information Services), whose results are then cross referenced for the official setting of the dividend. Generally, the bigger the starting odds are the bigger the dividend will be.
  3. Other factors also affect the size of the forecast, including the number of runners, if there is a short-priced favourite, etc.
  4. Once the starting prices have been decided on the course by the Senior SP returner, they are relayed to the broadcaster. The forecast dividend will then be calculated.
  5. The dividend is declared generally within a few minutes of the result and starting prices being known. The dividend is declared for a €1 stake which is included in the figure given. Therefore, a €10 Straight Forecast with a declared dividend of €24.50 will give a payout of €245.00.
  6. For example, the following were actual forecast dividends. These are purely used as examples, and dividends can vary based on a number of different factors, including the number of runners, whether there is a short-priced favourite, etc.

    1st 6/1 (7.00) 2nd 5/2 (3.50) — Forecast Paid €21.22 including a €1 stake — 13.10 Hereford 01/12/2009

    1st 4/6 (1.67) 2nd 9/4 (3.25) — Forecast Paid €2.45 including a €1 stake — 14.10 Hereford 01/12/2009

    1st 8/1 (9.00) 2nd 5/1 (6.00) — Forecast Paid €47.68 including a €1 stake — 14.20 Southwell 01/12/2009

    1st 4/1 (5.00) 2nd 4/9 (1.44) — Forecast Paid €6.34 including a €1 stake — 14.00 Lingfield 01/12/2009

8.21. Reverse Forecast

  1. A Reverse Forecast bet is one where you choose two selections in one event to finish first and second in either order (this is effectively two different straight forecasts on one bet slip). A computer-generated straight forecast dividend is declared. In order to get a return, you must pick both the first and second placed selections in either order.

8.22. Combination Forecast

  1. A Combination Forecast bet is one where you choose three or more selections in one event, two of which must finish first and second in either order (this is effectively a series of straight forecast bets on one bet slip and requires multiple stakes according to the number of selections). A computer-generated straight forecast dividend is declared. In order to get a return, you must pick both the first and second placed selections in either order.

8.23. Straight Forecast Double

  1. A Straight Forecast Double is a bet where you choose four selections from two events (2 selections in each of the events). In both events your selections must finish first and second in the correct order. A computer-generated straight forecast dividend is declared on each of the races (see Help, 8.20). In order to get a return, you must pick both the first and second placed selections in the correct order in each race.
  2. Bet returns are calculated by multiplying the two dividends together, which gives the return for a €1 stake. The final payout is then calculated by multiplying this figure by your placed stake.

    For example:

You place a €0.50 bet on a Straight Forecast Double

If the two dividends were €11.50 and €7.00

    The return for a €1 Straight Forecast Double is calculated as 11.50 x 7.00 = €80.50

Therefore, a successful €0.50 Straight Forecast Double would return

    €80.50 x 0.50 = €40.25

8.24. Reverse Forecast Double

  1. A Reverse Forecast Double bet is one where you choose at least two selections from two or more events. Your selections must finish first and second in either order in at least two events. A computer-generated straight forecast dividend is declared for each of the races (see Help, 8.20). This will require multiple stakes, based on the number of selections. In order to get a return, you must pick both the first and second placed selections in any order in at least two races.

    Example A:

You select 2 Horses in Race 1 and 2 Horses in Race 2 in Reversed Forecast doubles.

There are 2 combinations of Straight Forecasts in each race. The number of bets is calculated by multiplying these figures.

    2 x 2 = 4 Reversed Forecast Doubles. This bet will cost €4 for a unit stake of €1

    Example B:

You select 3 Horses in Race 1 and 2 Horses in Race 2 in Reversed Forecast doubles

There are 6 combinations of Straight Forecasts in Race 1 and 2 in Race 2. The number of bets is calculated by multiplying these figures.

    6 x 2 = 12 Reversed Forecast Doubles. This bet will cost €12 for a unit stake of €1

  2. Bet returns are calculated by multiplying the two dividends together, which gives the return for a €1 unit stake. The final payout is then calculated by multiplying this figure by your unit stake placed. See example in 8.23 above.

8.25. Straight Tricast

  1. A Straight Tricast bet is one where you choose three selections in a Horse or Greyhound race, to finish first, second and third in the correct order. The odds for the tricast will not be known at the time you place your bet. A computer generated straight tricast dividend is declared soon after the result. The tricast dividends are calculated in a similar fashion to the straight forecasts detailed in 8.20 above. In order to get a return, you must pick the first, second and third placed selections in the correct order.
  2. For example, the following were actual tricast dividends. These are purely used as examples and dividends can vary upon a number of different factors:

    1st 9/2 (5.50)

    2nd 16/1 (17.00)

    3rd 7/1 (8.00)

    Tricast Paid €504.66 including €1 stake — 14.40 Hereford 01/12/2009

    1st 3/1 (4.00)

    2nd 9/4 (3.25)

    3rd 11/1 (12.00)

    Tricast Paid €63.16 including €1 stake — 13.30 Lingfield 01/12/2009

8.26. Combination Tricast

  1. A Combination Tricast bet is one where you choose three or more selections in one event, three of which must finish first, second and third in any order (this is effectively a series of straight tricast bets on one bet slip and requires multiple stakes according to the number of selections). A computer generated straight tricast dividend is declared. In order to get a return, you must pick the first, second and third placed selections in any order.

8.27. Double (Split) Asian Handicaps and Total Goals

  1. Double Asian handicaps and totals are bets where the stake is split into two equal parts. One part of the bet is on the whole number and the other part on the non-whole number. A single price is offered for this bet.
  2. For example, if an Asian Handicap was offered as (-1.0,-1.5) and €100 was staked on this, €50 would be placed at -1.0 and €50 at -1.5.
  3. Similarly, if an Asian Total Goal was offered as (over 3.0, 3.5) and €100 was staked, €50 would be placed at over 3.0 and €50 at over 3.5.

Examples of the calculation of single bets on double Asian handicaps.

A €100 bet on a double Asian handicap (-1.5, -2.0) at 2.00 is split into two parts: €50 on handicap (-1.5) at 2.00 and €50 on handicap (-2.0) at 2.00.

  1. If your team won by three or more goals, then both parts of the bet are winners and are calculated as follows:
    Handicap (-1.5): €50 х 2.00 = €100
    Handicap (-2.0): €50 х 2.00 = €100
The bet will have a total return of €200, giving a total profit of €100.
  2. If your team won by two goals, then the bet is calculated as follows:
    Handicap (-1.5): €50 х 2.00 = €100 (Win)
    Handicap (-2.0): €50 х 1.00 = €50 (Draw on handicap – stake returned)
The bet will have a total return of €150, giving a total profit of €50.
  3. If your team won by one goal, drew or lost then both parts of the bet lose.

Examples of the calculation of single bets on double Asian total goals.

A €100 bet on a double Asian total (under 3.0, 3.5) at 2.00 is split into two parts: €50 on under 3.0 at 2.00 and €50 on under 3.5 at 2.00.

  1. If under 3 (0, 1 or 2) goals were scored in the match, then the bet is calculated as follows:
    Under 3.0: €50 х 2.00 = €100
    Under 3.5: €50 x 2.00 = €100
The bet will have a total return of €200, giving a total profit of €100.
  2. If 3 goals were scored in the match, then the bet is calculated as follows:
    Under 3.0: €50 х 1.00 = €50 (Draw on handicap – stake returned)
    Under 3.5: €50 х 2.00 = €100 (Win)
The bet will have a total return of €150, giving a total profit of €50.
  3. If 4 or more goals were scored in the match, then both parts of the bet lose.

Examples of how accumulators containing double Asian handicap or total goals selections are calculated.

If an accumulator contains double Asian handicap or total selections, then the quantity of accumulators is doubled with every such selection.

A €100 treble on selections at 1.25, 1.50 and double Asian total (over 2.5,3.0) at 2.00 is split into two trebles:
€50 х 1.25 х 1.50 х 2.00 (over 2.5)
€50 х 1.25 х 1.50 х 2.00 (over 3.0)

If the 1.25 and 1.50 selections won and:

  1. in the third match 4 or more goals were scored, then the bet is calculated as:
    €50 х 1.25 х 1.50 х 2.00 (over 2.5) = €187.50
    €50 х 1.25 х 1.50 х 2.00 (over 3.0) = €187.50
The bet will have a total return of €375, giving a total profit of €275.
  2. in the third match 3 goals were scored, then the bet is calculated as:
    €50 х 1.25 х 1.50 х 2.00 (over 2.5) = €187.50
    €50 х 1.25 х 1.50 х 1.00 (over 3.0) = €93.75
The bet will have a total return of €281.25, giving a total profit of €181.25
  3. in the third match under 3 (0,1 or 2) goals were scored, both parts of the bet lose.

8.28. System

A ‘System’ bet is a combination of accumulators, whose quantity depends on the size of the System.

To place this type of bet, add between 3 and 20 selections to a bet slip. After adding the selections, the bet slip will give you the option to choose the size of the System, depending on the number of selections.

The winnings from the bet are based on the size of the System and the number of correctly predicted outcomes. The maximum possible winning amount will be received if all outcomes in the System are correctly predicted.

For example:

1) You have selected 4 selections and want to place a bet on a series of accumulators, with 3 selections in each accumulator (System 3/4). The total number of accumulators in the bet will be 4. For a stake of €0.50 each, the total cost of the series of accumulators will be €2.
To receive the minimum possible winnings, you need at least 3 out of your 4 selections to be correct.

2) You have selected 10 outcomes and want to place a bet on a series of accumulators with 2 selections in each accumulator (System 2/10). The total number of accumulators in the bet will be 45. For a stake of €0.50 each, the total cost of the series of accumulators will be €22.50.

Banker

When placing a System bet, you can pick one or several of your selections to be a Banker. If you choose a Banker, you exclude any accumulators that do not contain this selection from your System. Only accumulators that include the Banker will be included in the System.

In other words, the Banker is an outcome you are very confident about, and everything depends on it, as only the accumulators with this selection are included in the System.

For example:

You have selected 4 outcomes and want to place a bet on a series of accumulators, with 2 selections in each accumulator (System 2/4). The total number of accumulators in the bet will be 6. For a stake of €0.50 each, the total cost of the series of accumulators will be €3.

If you have chosen one of the 4 selections as a Banker, only those accumulators that include that selection will remain in the System. In this case, the total number of accumulators will be reduced to three. For a stake of €0.50 each, the total cost of the series of accumulators will be €1.50.

9. Toto

9.1. Toto Rules

  1. The Toto is a game in which players bet on match results or the final correct score. Before the start, the organizer collects all stakes, based on these rules, into one common pool. After all the matches have finished the Prize pool (part of the pool) is distributed between all winning players.
  2. Toto game is an individual Toto competition.
  3. Toto pool is the total amount of money contributed by players into the Toto game.
  4. Toto prize pool is the total amount of money available as player prizes for each Toto game (Toto pool minus margin).
  5. Winning category is a part of the Toto prize pool as defined in the rules.
  6. The Jackpot is an additional prize made up from prizes which were not won in previous Toto games. The company has the right to increase the Jackpot from its own contributions.
  7. A Toto player is an individual who has placed a bet in Toto pool under the Terms and Conditions of the Toto Rules. The player must be over 18 years of age.
  8. Bets on all Toto matches are placed on the full-time result, unless otherwise specified.
  9. Bets are accepted up until a Toto game starts. The start of the Toto game is the actual start time of the first match to commence. That said, this does not include void matches.
  10. A match is considered void in a Toto game:
    • if its result is not decided 2 hours before the start of the following Toto game;
    • if it started earlier than the closing time for bets of the current Toto game;
    • if it is invalidated according to the Marathonbet General Terms and Conditions.
  11. The more predictions that were successful, the more winning categories the player will receive a prize from.
  12. For convenience, you may place several bets on one bet slip, just mark more than one result at the same time, in one or several matches. Thereby the total number of bets and the amount required for the bet slip payment are correspondingly doubled, trebled etc.
  13. The total stake for a bet slip is distributed equally across all the bets on the slip. Winning bets are calculated proportionately to the stake of each bet.
  14. The composition of the Toto prize pool and Jackpot, and the subsequent prize distribution, are defined by the organiser for each Toto type.
  15. The Toto prize pool of any category is distributed between the winning bets strictly according to their stakes - the larger the stake, the larger the prizes. The same distribution applies to the Jackpot. The total bet prize depends on the amount of successfully predicted matches, the Toto prize pool size and the total number of winning bets.
  16. In accordance with the minimum stakes displayed, different currencies can be used in a Toto game. The minimum stakes are fixed at the time a new Toto game begins and do not change whilst that Toto game is in progress. For your convenience, bets placed in a Toto game using various currencies are shown in a single currency—EUR (€). Exchange rates are also fixed at the time the new Toto game is announced.
  17. Statistics relating to bets already accepted are available to view on the website. Once bet acceptance is closed the total number of accepted bets, the Toto pool size and the full list of bets are published, which allows anyone to check the calculation of winnings.
  18. To calculate prizes in different currencies, uniform factors are used, which are calculated, based on the number of correct results, the Toto prize pool amount in Euro (€), the stakes of winning bets in each winning category and the size of the Jackpot.
  19. Winning in a higher category includes winning in all subsequent lower categories.
  20. Irrespective of the number of correct predictions, the organiser guarantees a payment factor of no less than 1.1 for winning bets.
  21. Where Toto Terms and Conditions differ from the General Terms and Conditions, the Toto Terms and Conditions will take precedence.

9.1.1. Toto 1X2

  1. The Toto 1X2 requires a player to select the outcome of 15 predefined matches. 1 – indicates the first team to win, 2 – the second team to win and X – a draw.
  2. In order to receive a prize, the player will need to predict the results correctly in 9 or more matches.
  3. 90% of the Toto pool is distributed between the successful players, 10% margin is retained by the company.
  4. The Toto prize pool is distributed into 7 winning categories:
    • 1st winning category – winning results in 15 events - 5% of the Toto pool.
    • 2nd winning category – winning results in at least 14 events - 5% of the Toto pool.
    • 3rd winning category – winning results in at least 13 events - 5% of the Toto pool.
    • 4th winning category – winning results in at least 12 events - 5% of the Toto pool.
    • 5th winning category – winning results in at least 11 events - 10% of the Toto pool.
    • 6th winning category – winning results in at least 10 events - 20% of the Toto pool.
    • 7th winning category – winning results in at least 9 events - 40% of the Toto pool.
  5. The minimum bet is €0.50. The maximum bet is not limited.
  6. To place a bet, it is necessary to select an outcome for each match represented in the Toto bet slip.
  7. If no player has successfully predicted 15 (or 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9) results then any prizes not paid in each winning category will be carried forward to the Jackpot of the following Toto game.
  8. The Jackpot is not won until somebody successfully predicts all 15 outcomes.
  9. Jackpot distribution in the case of void matches 'not played':
    • 1 void match – 35% of the Jackpot is distributed (only for 14 correct selections)
    • 2 void matches – 20% of the Jackpot is distributed (only for 13 correct selections)
    • 3 void matches – 10% of the Jackpot is distributed (only for 12 correct selections)
  10. If a Toto game includes more than 3 void matches then all bets will be void and stakes returned to the players.
  11. Any predicted selection of a void match is considered as a winning selection.
  12. The Toto prize pool and Jackpot distribution amongst winning bets are as follows.
The prize ratios are as follows:
    • 7th winning category (9 successful predictions) = 0.40 x pool / D7*
    • 6th winning category (10 successful predictions) = (0.20 x pool / D6*) + winning category 7
    • 5th winning category (11 successful predictions) = (0.10 x pool / D5*) + winning category 6
    • 4th winning category (12 successful predictions) = (0.05 x pool / D4*) + winning category 5
    • 3rd winning category (13 successful predictions) = (0.05 x pool / D3*) + winning category 4
    • 2nd winning category (14 successful predictions) = (0.05 x pool / D2*) + winning category 3
    • 1st winning category (15 successful predictions) = ((0.05 x pool + JP*)/ D1*) + winning category 2

    * – D7 (D6, D5, ... D1) – total sum of bets in euro (€) in which players have successfully selected at 9 (10, 11, ... 15) results.
JP – Jackpot (in case of void matches – part of Jackpot).

9.1.2. Toto Correct Score

  1. The Toto Correct Score requires a player to select the correct score in defined matches. The bet slip contains 8 matches with score options for each of them.
  2. In order to receive a prize, the player will need to predict the results correctly in 2 or more matches.
  3. 95% of the Toto pool is distributed between the successful players, 5% margin is retained by the company.
  4. If all the matches are played (no void matches) the Toto prize pool is distributed into 7* winning categories and also for the Jackpot of the next Toto game**:
    • 1st winning category – 5% from Toto pool (8 scores predicted);
    • 2nd winning category – 5% from Toto pool (7 and 8 scores predicted);
    • 3rd winning category – 7.5% from Toto pool (6, 7 and 8 scores predicted);
    • 4th winning category – 10% from Toto pool (5, 6, 7 and 8 scores predicted);
    • 5th winning category – 12.5% from Toto pool (4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 scores predicted);
    • 6th winning category – 20% from Toto pool (3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 scores predicted);
    • 7th winning category – 35% from Toto pool (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 scores predicted);
    * – If there are 1 or 2 void matches, the Toto prize pool is distributed according to Rule 9.
** – If there are no winning bets in the 1st winning category.
  5. The minimum bet is €0.20. The maximum bet is unlimited.
  6. To place a single bet, you need to choose one score for each match on the bet slip. For multiple bets, you may select 2 or more scores in each of the matches. Thereby the total number of bets and the bet stake is correspondingly doubled, trebled etc.
  7. Distribution of the Toto prize pool from winning categories which don’t have any winning bets.
If there are 1 or more winning categories without a win, 30% of those winning categories prizes are added to the winning category in which most scores were correctly predicted, and 70% added to the Jackpot of the next Toto game. If there are no bets successfully predicting more than 1 score, then the whole Toto prize pool is added to the Jackpot of the next Toto game.
  8. The Jackpot is distributed amongst bets successfully predicting 7 or 8 correct scores, according to their size. The larger the stake, the larger the prize.
The Jackpot remains not won if no one successfully predicts 7 or 8 correct scores.
All bets successfully predicting scores in all 8 matches share 95% of the Jackpot. The remaining 5% of the Jackpot is distributed among bets successfully predicting 7 or 8 scores.
  9. The Jackpot distribution where 1 or more matches are void:
    • 1 void match – 25% of the Jackpot is distributed (7 successfully predicted correct scores);
    • 2 void matches – The Jackpot is not paid.
Toto pool distribution in case of 1 void match:
    • 7 correct scores – 5%, 6 correct scores – 5%, 5 correct scores – 7.5%,
    • 4 correct scores – 10%, 3 correct scores – 12.5%, 2 correct scores – 55%.
Toto pool distribution in case of 2 void matches:
    • 6 correct scores – 5%, 5 correct scores – 5%, 4 correct scores – 7.5%,
    • 3 correct scores – 10%, 2 correct scores – 67.5%.
  10. If there are 3 or more void matches, then all bets will be void and stakes returned to the players.

Example

The sum of the Toto pool is €100,000 and the Jackpot is €200,000. The most successful bets correctly predicted the score in 6 matches.

Since there were no successful predictions for 8 or 7 correct scores, 30% of the 1st and 2nd winning categories is added to the 3rd winning category and 70% is added to the Jackpot for the next Toto game.

Each of the 1st and 2nd winning categories is 5% of the Toto pool. Therefore, 10% of the Toto pool equals €10,000. 30% of this equals €3,000 and 70% equals €7,000.

Hence, the sum of the Jackpot for the next Toto game will be €207,000.

The Toto pool distribution by winning categories for this Toto game is as follows (as per Rule 4):

  • 7th winning category – 35% of Toto pool = €35,000
  • 6th winning category – 20% of Toto pool = €20,000
  • 5th winning category – 12.5% of Toto pool = €12,500
  • 4th winning category – 10% of Toto pool = €10,000
  • 3rd winning category – 7.5% of Toto pool (€7,500) + 30% of the 1st and 2nd winning categories with no winners (€3,000) = €10,500.

9.1.3. Toto Tennis

  1. The Toto Tennis requires a player to select from 4 set results in 14 matches. There are four possible results to choose from: ‘2:0’, ‘2:1’, ‘1:2’, ‘0:2’. In 5 set matches scores ‘3:0’ and ‘0:3’ are considered equal to ‘2:0’ and ‘0:2’, scores ‘3:1’ and ‘3:2’ are considered equal to ‘2:1’, and ‘2:3’, ‘1:3’ to ‘1:2’.
  2. In order to receive a prize, the player will need to predict the results correctly in 8 or more matches.
  3. 90% of the Toto pool is distributed between the successful players, 10% margin is retained by the company.
  4. If all the matches are played (no void matches) the Toto prize pool is distributed into 7* winning categories and for the Jackpot of the next Toto game**:
    • 1st winning category – 5% of the Toto pool. This is distributed between all bets with winning results in 14 events.
    • 2nd winning category – 5% of the Toto pool. This is distributed between all bets with winning results in 14 or 13 events.
    • 3rd winning category – 5% of the Toto pool. This is distributed between all bets with winning results in 14, 13 or 12 events.
    • 4th winning category – 5% of the Toto pool. This is distributed between all bets with winning results in 14, 13, 12 or 11 events.
    • 5th winning category – 13% of the Toto pool. This is distributed between all bets with winning results in 14, 13, 12, 11 or 10 events.
    • 6th winning category – 22% of the Toto pool. This is distributed between all bets with winning results in 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 or 9 events.
    • 7th winning category – 35% of the Toto pool. This is distributed between all bets with winning results in 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9 or 8 events.
    * – If there are 1, 2, 3 or 4 void matches, the Toto pool is distributed according to Rule 10.
** – If there are no winning bets in the 1st winning category.
  5. The minimum bet is €0.50. The maximum bet is unlimited.
  6. To place a bet, you need to select the result for each of the 14 matches listed in the Toto bet slip.
  7. If there are 1 or more winning categories without a win, 30% of those winning categories prizes are added to the winning category in which most scores were correctly predicted, and 70% added to the Jackpot of the next Toto game. If there are no bets successfully predicting more than 7 scores, then 30% of the Toto pool is distributed among the bets successfully predicting most scores, and 70% is added to the Jackpot of the following Toto game.
  8. A match is considered void:
    • in accordance with Toto Rules Section 10;
    • if the match is abandoned after a player retires or is disqualified;
    • if the total number of sets has changed.
  9. The Jackpot is not won until someone successfully predicts results for all 14 or 13 matches of the Toto game that have not been declared void.
The Jackpot is distributed amongst bets successfully predicting 14 or 13 results, according to their size. The larger the stake, the larger the prize.
All bets successfully predicting results in all 14 matches share 85% of the Jackpot. The remaining 15% of the Jackpot is distributed among bets successfully predicting 13 or 14 results.
  10. Jackpot distribution in the case of void matches 'not played':
    • 1 void match – 25% of the Jackpot is distributed amongst bets successfully predicting 13 results, and 5% of the Jackpot is distributed amongst bets successfully predicting at least 12 results.
    • 2 void matches – 10% of the Jackpot is distributed amongst bets successfully predicting 12 results, and 2% of the Jackpot is distributed amongst bets successfully predicting at least 11 results.
    • If a Toto game includes 3 or 4 void matches then the Jackpot is not distributed.
Toto pool distribution in case of 1 void match:
    • 13 successful predictions – 5%,
    • 12 successful predictions – 5%,
    • 11 successful predictions – 5%,
    • 10 successful predictions – 5%,
    • 9 successful predictions – 13%,
    • 8 successful predictions – 57%.
Toto pool distribution in case of 2 void matches:
    • 12 successful predictions – 5%,
    • 11 successful predictions – 5%,
    • 10 successful predictions – 5%,
    • 9 successful predictions – 5%,
    • 8 successful predictions – 70%.
Toto pool distribution in case of 3 void matches:
    • 11 successful predictions – 5%,
    • 10 successful predictions – 5%,
    • 9 successful predictions – 5%,
    • 8 successful predictions – 75%.
Toto pool distribution in case of 4 void matches:
    • 10 successful predictions – 5%
    • 9 successful predictions – 5%
    • 8 successful predictions – 80%
  11. If a Toto game includes 5 or more void matches then all bets will be void and stakes returned to the players.

Example

The sum of the Toto pool is €50,000 and the Jackpot is €100,000. The most successful bet correctly predicted the result in 12 matches.

Since there were no successful predictions for 14 or 13 results, 30% of the 1st and 2nd winning categories is added to the 3rd winning category and 70% is added to the Jackpot for the next Toto game.

Each of the 1st and 2nd winning categories is 5% of the Toto pool. Therefore, 10% of the Toto pool equals €5,000. 30% of this equals €1,500 and 70% equals €3,500.

Hence, the sum of the Jackpot for the next Toto game will be €103,500

The Toto pool distribution by winning categories for this Toto game is as follows:

  • 7th winning category – 35% of Toto pool = €17,500
  • 6th winning category – 22% of Toto pool = €11,000
  • 5th winning category – 13% of Toto pool = €6,500
  • 4th winning category – 5% of Toto pool = €2,500
  • 3rd winning category – 5% of Toto pool (€2,500) + 30% of the 1st and 2nd winning categories with no winners (€1,500) = €4,000.

9.3. Toto Results – Toto 1X2

  1. Unless stated otherwise, all Toto bets shall be settled based upon the results of the individual events that comprise the Toto game. Should one or more matches of the Toto game, or a whole Toto game, be made void then all bets placed on that Toto game’s outcome shall be made void.
  2. Result 'with the pool'. A match result will be considered 'with the pool', if the result corresponds to the largest percentage from the Toto pool distribution between all possible results of that match. The match result will not count as 'with the pool' if the largest pool distribution (determined at the end of the Toto game) is spread across two or more match results.

Result 'against the pool'. A match result will be considered 'against the pool', if the result corresponds to the smallest percentage from the Toto pool distribution between all possible results of that match. The match result will not count as 'against the pool' if the smallest pool distribution (determined at the end of the Toto game) is spread across two or more match results.

  3. Total number of correctly predicted results in the winning coupons. Bets placed on this market are settled on the result of the most successful coupon which was placed in the Toto game. If you place a bet on 'Over 12.5 Correctly Guessed results', your bet will be a winner if there is a coupon containing 13 or more correct results when the Toto game is settled.

For example: in the Toto 1Х2 game eight matches ended in victory for team one, four matches ended in a draw and three matches ended in victory for team two. Six match results went in accordance 'with the pool' and three match results went 'against the pool'. The remaining six matches ended with the outcome that is neither ‘with the pool’, nor ‘against the pool’. The settlement of bets in accordance with this Toto game will be based on the following results:
    - Number of wins for team one – 8,
    - Number of draws – 4,
    - Number of wins for team two – 3,
    - Results 'With the pool' – 6,
    - Results 'Against the pool' – 3.

10. Bet Constructor

  1. The Bet Constructor is a type of bet where you pick two virtual teams made up from players (teams) participating in real matches and place bets on the outcome of these virtual teams competing. Bets are settled based on the total points won by all of the players (teams) in their real matches.
  2. Virtual teams can be created in accordance with the following rules:
